Thread: Transatlantic - KaLIVEoscope

    Transatlantic - KaLIVEoscope

Radiant Records have just announced in their newsletter that the TA recording from their Kaleidoscope Tour will be available soon, titled "KaLIVEascope" with no other details revealed.

    /speculate

I wonder if material from both Tilburg shows will be included (as setlists were slightly different both nights). Sylvia + Hocus Pocus performances should be included or I am not interested :]

Only a matter of time, I suppose, but Transatlantic is still an auto-buy for me. Bring it on!

Here's hoping for two five-disc sets!

    KaLIVEascope sounds better!!!

Obviously the multi-disc super duper deluxe edition is auto-buy!

That's what I was anticipating too.

In fact, it is titled KaLIVEascope... was an overlook on my part... anyone with the access rights to correct the thread's title?

I'd love a video from the Philly show. That was a special one.

This was a fantastic tour, I caught the Montreal show and it was possibly better than the Whirlwind gig a few years prior (although both were amazing). Now, I know I'll buy this, it's a compulsion, but how many live sets can these guys release? For a band with only four studio albums, Transatlantic sure takes up a lot of space on my shelves!

    Actually it's KaLIVEoscope.

I think all concerned will be happy with the disc count, and inclusions. I'm working with the packaging this week.

LOL!! You aren't kidding - I just counted and my Transatlantic section has 16 items in it (counting both DVD and CD). Of course I'll be adding more to it when this comes out.

If you don't have Roine's mix of SMTP:e, Neal's demos for for the first two albums plus his demos for The Whirlwind, your section is smaller than mine!

Remind me not to stand next to you at the urinal!

In fact, I do have Roine's mix (which I prefer, actually), as well the Neal demos. And I think I read there are going to be two more discs of demos coming from the Inner Circle club as well, this time focusing on Kaleidoscope.

That's correct, September & November's Inner Circle discs are Neal's Kaleidoscope Demos.

Sounds good. I enjoy getting the IC releases every other month, they're always something of a surprise because I tend to forget they're on the way... and some of them are excellent. I found Neal's mix of the debut Flying Colors album quite a treat, for example. And it's nice that they are sometimes live DVDs.

So with the addition of those two demo discs and the new Kaliveoscope, the Transatlantic shelf grows further!

Wasn't Ted Leonard the sideman on this tour in Gildenlow's absence?

If so: is he a noticeable texture at all? I'm wondering how his voice fits in with the harmonies
