Then your version is the 4-disc digipack for $22.95. The standalone blu-ray is $15.99 and the 6-disc boxed set is $44.99 (as well as a bundled version including the "Proggy Christmas" disc - $54.95). If you order from Radiant, that is!

    Definitely getting the box.

I just want the CDs. My shelves are groaning under the weight of concert videos that I've never watched - and probably never will.

It's another format that came out after DVD - if you have a Blu-Ray player, the picture is usually sharper.

If you can get access to something called the Internet, you can use what's referred to as a "search engine" to look up more information about Blu-Ray. You might be able to access the Internet at a "library" which is basically a building with lots of books and other research material.

Box set ordered! I think I'll get a signed poster, though I actually don't much care.

Why is the Cologne set so many fewer tracks than the Tilberg set?

Didn"t Tilburg have special guests (Thijs van Leer) and so, special songs ?

I guess so. The Cologne set just looked kind of short I guess. But with some 30 minute tracks , it's probably not!

    But...but...it's suitable for framing.

Perhaps they are saving that for the second live box set. We did get two live albums for Whirlwind.

Boxed set ordered. The "Portnoy vs. Morse Beatles battle" should be fun!

I saw this recently on YouTube, so anyone who's impatient can likely find it there. Yeah, there's no stopping Portnoy, but he does call Neal "a worthy adversary".

As for the Prog Nation Cruise material, I would imagine that's being saved for a DVD release of that Cruise. Haven't heard any updates in a long while about it, but previously Portnoy said he was working through all of the red tape to make it happen. I guess somehow Spock's was okay'd to release a DVD of just their set...but since TA were the main headliners, I would suspect they want to save that for a PN14 DVD package set, along with their sets with Jon Anderson and other special guests.

Just read Neal's latest e-mail to the Inner Circle and was interested to hear that Ray Shulman is the guy who authored the DVDs for this set!

I've seen the deluxe edition described as both a box set and as an art book edition. I wonder which it is?

Of course, I noticed that the Ayreon 2cd/1dvd Theory of Everything is called a digibook when it's really not - it's one of the sort of flimsy cardboard tryptich things. So...

Recently received in mail - The Kaleidoscope Demos CD (Part 1) from the Neal Morse Inner Circle.

    http://www.radiantrecords.com/produc...mber-2014.aspx

Very interesting to hear this and it makes me want to revisit Kaleidoscope again, Neal introduces each part to talk about what it is. Includes one song that the rest of the band turned down "Dying to Live" - I agree as it is more of a Morse solo singer/songwriter type song. The main 25 minute piece (TA Kaleidoscope Demo # 2) is really a fully formed great sounding demo and from what I gather it is what he mailed to the rest of TA before starting recording. Does anyone know how these are done? I mean who played on this (drums, guitar, bass) - Is it all Neal or his solo band, or computer??

I haven't heard this yet, but his demos are usually "All Neal", sometimes with programmed drums.
