I love the quirkiness of the music.
I hear mahavishnu in the music. A great cd that I hear more from with each listen.
Long time, no hear from EO! This is good news.
You say Mega Ultra Deluxe Special Limited Edition Extended Autographed 5-LP, 3-CD, 4-DVD, 2-BlueRay, 4-Cassette, five 8-Track, MP4 Download plus Demos, Outtakes, Booklet, T-Shirt and Guitar Pick Gold-Leafed Box Set Version like it's a bad thing...
Finally got around to playing the CD (purchased from Ken). This is my kind of instrumental progressive rock. Love the fuzz bass and mellotron sounds (sampled I presume?). Fun 1950's popular culture science fiction theme. Plenty of changes to keep everyone guessing. Great, great stuff. The type of album that grows in stature over time.
I'll put some incomprehensible words up on my blog soon, and maybe you'll sell one more copy, Bill.
Maybe.
LOL! I'll share this with him tomorrow at rehearsal. We have a big gig lined up in January with the even cleaner, and better looking Frogg Cafe headlining.
Thanks Tom. Yes, the Tron's are samples. The strings are a Mark II Sample I've had for a long time now, for me they are unbeatable. And you can't fit a real Mellotron in a Mazda 3, so samples it must be.
Bill
What - you don't have the The Beverly Hillbillies Modular Mellotron that fits on top of your car?
The samples sounded great actually. I only figured they were sampled because no mellotron was credited And well, I could swear a couple of chords went longer than 8 seconds
I saw Rick this week playing in a improv jazz band, must have been only 6 people in the audience, it was good stuff.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?
There are only 10 types of people in the World, those who understand binary and those that don't.
Certainly one of the better cd's I've purchased this year.
