Will help 'splain any other commonly used acronym.

E.g. enter : define:FIFY or define:IBTL or define:YMMV ... and so on

I am often able to guess these kind of things from context. I don't know IBTL, but this is the first time I have seen it, so I never had to puzzle over it. If it comes up again, I might be motivated to look it up. What puzzles me more than these interweb acronyms is speech that I cannot identify as English, such as:

Droogs dont work anyhow. Skirt-"mens" do.

Jimmehs, Jimmehs, Jimmehs.

Perhaps this is some kind of slang local to someplace I have not been. People can say what they want, just don't expect that we will all be able to understand. I'm not going to lose any sleep over any of it.

But I believe it's a private group for political conservatives, and the acronym probably stands for You Did Not Build That, or something pretty similar. Which is an American political reference: In a speech, the current President remarked that the founder(s) of successful businesses did not build them from nothing. Rather, they piggybacked them upon a physical, human, legal, and organizational infrastructure that an entire society had built. And they owed a certain amount of credit and a share of their profits to the society in which they lived for having made that success possible.

This is probably an obvious statement to most Europeans, such as yourself, and not an outrageous one. However, a large number of American businessmen believe that their own success is entirely self-made. They reacted to this with considerable anger, and the statement got a great deal of currency, particularly in the Murdoch press.
