Any news on the preshow yet?

  4. #54
The preshow is almost booked. The bands doing the show should have their materials for the web site to me in the next couple of days and I'm hoping to have it posted by sometime over the weekend. It's actually been booked twice before, but ultimately something happened in both situations. So this is the third shot at the preshow lineup.

Hey Geez, yes we met briefly at the last NF at the hotel bar where Tom Gagliardi was doing his radio show. But I'm sure we will get a better chance to see each other this time around.

This will be my 14th consecutive year and out of those there has been only 1 moved indoors which turned out to be one of my faves, not so much for being inside but getting to see Djam Karet, Happy the Man, Tempano and The Muffins in a small theater was great fun.

Something tells me the weather will be great on the farm this year, can't wait.

If anyone doesn't remember what I look, I'll be easy to spot. Just look for the silver shoes, the Magma necklace, and the inappropriately incongruous t-shirt (I haven't picked out the wardrobe for the weekend, but you can bet I'll have one t-shirt that will be "out of place").

Wait, are you "Silver Shoes?" If so, I either didn't know or forgot. Darn switch to PE 3.0!

Hopefully it will stay outside, but I've been to it indoors and the vibe was still there to an extent and had a great time.

We are glad to hear that progluvr (and that dubious fellow she hangs around with) will be back at Storybook Farm this year as we enjoy seeing celebrities in the crowd.

This will be my first. Travelling there from Dallas with my wife. We'll be manning a vendor's table for Supernal Endgame, so if you get the chance, come by and say "Hi".

By the way, we'll be staying in the area to vacation for a few days afterward, so if any of you know of any must see sites in the area (or in the Charlotte area), I'm all ears. Thanks in advance.

I'll be there. It will be my 5th, and my first in a while. I had to make it for #20. I will be shacking up with Norm and Matt as to keep them both properly chaperoned.

We can only hope that there won't be any video of the 3 of you in speedos.

Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier, Deb. This will be my FIRST ProgDay! Looking forward to the cool music, but not the hot weather. I'm coming from a severe drought stricken area and quite frankly, if it rained at ProgDay, I'd be up and dancing in it!

Looking forward to seeing you! And I must say there have been several times when a nice rain was more than welcome...as long as it's not a downpour.
