^ That really slaps.
^ Looks like they also made it into a series.

Thank you for that. Always good to hear the voice of experience Gary.
For those who didn't see Nik Bartsch's Ronin at BE, I'd recommend catching them if they come your way on this tour. I saw them last night in Cleveland, and they were excellent.
^ Afaik, Grand Cayman is a place where wealthy Americans and businesses offshore money for the purposes of avoiding taxation.
When I was there, it seemed like a place that wasn't focused on...
Thank for the excellent breakdown of terms.
^ When we went in the early/mid 2000s, the beggar/panhandler situation was so bad in Ocho Rios, that the excursion going ashore went into a cordoned off area that had a small boutique/market area,...
I thought the Singularity is another term for a Black Hole?
I think the switch to the "away" unis at home was inspired by the NFL's color scheme. Whether the home whites were inspired by MLB, I can't say. All speculation though.
Couldn't disagree more, for the most part. The Blackhawks "road" reds are better looking than the "home" whites, but I can't think of others, off the top of my head. And those aren't monochromatic,...
^ I did. So did Bijan Robinson. His day 1 bracket was perfect.
^ Thanks Mstove for the detailed explanation of the laminates and upcharges above. :up
I'm watching Bruins-Rangers. Bruins are at home, and they're wearing their "home" whites, instead of their "road" blacks. Did the NHL finally come to their senses?
Can someone explain the Blue Laminate/Red Laminate thing? Are their upcharges after you get on the ship? (I know it's a cruise, so duh, but wondering about the extent.)
Here ya go...

That's too bad. In the naughts, myself and my family went on a cruise that was Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica (Ocho Rios.) It must be a fairly common itinerary.
^ Nice review, Steve. Why was Jamaica removed as a port-of-call?
They're on tour now. I don't know about who's in the band.
EDIT: On tour in the USA.
^ :lol And true AF.
Please let it be a full tour.
The Human Menagerie is a masterpiece, and there were many other great songs interspersed through his body of work, both band and solo.
Sad day. Another of the greats has left us.
In the late 80s, the music press in the USA went on a bit about a pronounced Who influence on The Smithereens. Iirc, Pat Dininzio admitted to The Who as an influence. I liked both bands and saw The...
Are you referring to The Who or Art Bears here?
Damn it. He was still performing, and was in relatively good shape as far as I could tell. I wonder what happened?
That's not a car, it's a Rube Goldberg Machine.
Absolutely. CDs are not a fad, but records definitely are a fad. How do we know this? Because we love CDs, and we don't like records!
That is all.
And I'm not sure if Isolation Tank Ensemble is opening on the whole tour, but if they open in your city, don't miss them. Outstanding instrumental Prog.
I caught the show in Cleveland last night. Packed house, varied crowd. I had seen them twice back during their run earlier this century, and as good as those shows were, last night was even better....
For me, their best by some distance.
Somebody in Knoxville needs to start a rickshaw service.
^ I think it's very good. One song is a little saccharine, but it's a very good album, and I'm miles from being a fanboy.
But it is mentioned. Sort of.
I'll watch the video when I have a chance, but my first inclination regarding the question in the subject line is "no".
At the risk of violating the TOS...Just when you thought things couldn't get any weirder in 2024...
...
If they plan on playing Darn It, they're probably tanking for a QB in the 2025 draft. Wonder what Justin Jefferson will think about that?
^ After watching Sam Darn It for around 6 games, you'll be pining for the days of Kirk Cousins.
Thanks so much for posting about these extra dates. They're far too far away for me to attend, but I thought I'd check around an see if any other dates are on the tour. I found a site with a...
From your lips to God's ears.
I don't get the whole "Sweet Caroline" thing. Nothing to do with sports or competition, and it's not terribly anthemic. Not the worst thing you're likely to hear at a sporting event, but it sets my...
I would feel very fortunate to see them play in North Carolina! ;)
"There are some who rush about, in a panic and a hurry.
Others lie in bed, on their backs and worry,
And with all their current worry,
Bolt the doors and lock up locks.
We'll all end up in safety...
Wow.
^ I know him from a series of Brit-Folk albums I have in my collection. Nothing must have, but I'm not getting rid of them.
Given that the East Rutherford shows were meant to draw from the greater NYC area, this is borderline depressing. 😢
^ Welcome to PA.
^ What I hate are news articles that have 1 paragraph of new information mentioned in the headline, followed by 8 paragraphs of the entire history of the subject, which has been in the public eye for...
How was the attendance in New Jersey and Boston?
Broncos will release Russell Wilson.

^ Gave it a listen. I'm not a Fusion guy, but I enjoyed it. Well done.
Didn't see this coming.

^ We used to be one of the places in the country that was known for harsh Winters. (Not Jerjo harsh, mind you, but harsh.) The narrative persists in the national media, but we haven't had a harsh...
I do have this album. (Not bought as a tourist.)
...
A sentiment full of redundancy, but I'd also chime in with well wishes.
We had a 2 day Winter in northern Ohio this year.
Not sure anyone's interested, but as promised a few pics from the opening gig of the tour in Ft. Wayne.

^ The guy on the bus didn't live in a hole in the road, did he?
You are a very kind man.
^ A bath house?
Sorry, someone had to do it.
No spoilers here I don't think. The show in Ft.Wayne last night before an enthusiastic crowd was very good. I'll post some pics after I get home. The show was a tiny tick over 2 hours long. Those who...
