He did get very far without Algebra and Latin!
“A Trick Of The Whale”
Yes, I have bought numerous copies of this, afraid to bite the bullet for another (at least) $40 investment.
Oddly enough, I bought a copy many years ago on eBay, I think it came from somewhere in...
It’s been released again in Japan as an SHM-CD. 2023 release on Belle Antique.
Wondering if it’s another needle drop!
I just received my preordered copy of the new Wetton book. Not a biography, it contains reminiscences from family, friends and fellow musicians.
I was surprised to see nothing from Eddie Jobson. I...
Thank you, calyx. I don’t have a blu-ray player, bought this set for the dvd. Shocked by the sound quality, but perhaps not that surprised…
Scroll down on the page I posted. Amazon is not making it easy!

They are available for Pre-order on Amazon.
Curious about the quality of the shows on dvd.
So did he eventually persuade Rick?
The Lamia would be a cool name for a car!
Sad to see Alan’s playing in that clip.
I can’t imagine them playing large venues when they come to the US. I would be tempted to see them in a club, like original Asia did in their final tours with Wetton.
YES needs a transfusion of British blood.
STAT!
Bulldoze, good word!
I would also add how much I miss Alan White here. His playing had so much finesse, not hearing that here, too heavy handed.
“Sooooooooooooooo, oh, Souvlaki…………”
AFJP is playing a club here I’m Maryland. Tickets are $70, seems high to me. But they appear to be selling, I truly wonder if most ticket buyers realize who they are seeing or are just going because...
I have a friend who volunteers at the Bethel Woods Museum, which is on the site of the original Woodstock. They are planning their own festival there, unrelated to Michael Lang’s. There is an...
Surprised not to see much about the convention on here........was it any good?
Here in Baltimore, the Ticketmaster link for Yestival features a photo of ARW!!!
Right across 34th Street, Hammerstein Ballroom.
Sept. 9 and 10, 1994. But what do I know, I was only there.
It was the Talk tour at the Hammerstein ballroom. Two days, Fri. And Sat. I went Friday, I don't think any members of the band past or present showed up. If I recall, there was a yes tribute band...
There was a vinyl lp on the pledgemusic site, but the pledging has ended.
I preordered this through my Zealot membership, getting it for $75. shipped. Cutting much slack to Eddie for this. I've waited a year, and I know I will enjoy this immensely.
I ordered this set exactly a year ago. Eddie is a perfectionist, and because of the size of his operation, I find the delays and his explanations to be totally reasonable. There are much more...
I relish tranya!
Boy, things here sure went quiet very quickly! I can't help but be skeptical of this tour, it just seems overly ambitious considering RW's recent health scare. Oh well, waiting for news on the DC...
And Tony Fernandez is not the drummer for ARW, I asked him! He is a very solid player and I'm sure he could handle it, I was very impressed by him last night with The Strawbs.
I guess they figured a way to beat the scalpels...
They are not coming to the DC area, but I have family in NY and contemplated the Paramount. Had a 6th row far aisle seat after trying for an hour and a half, $160 total. Let it go. After seeing the...
Hah! Good one!
The laugh of the day, thank you JKL2000!
It's all academic now, since the tour is cancelled. The meet and greet could have been a fiasco, but I don't doubt I would have come away with a great story and hopefully photographic evidence....
I checked the ticket and JKL2000 is correct, it is a meet and beat. Even better!
I am seeing him in Annapolis MD. Plus there's an upgrade for a meet and greet. Can't wait!
According to TMZ, she passed away Wed. afternoon...
Hairless Heart.
Saw the show a few weeks ago in Annapolis, MD. Not a techno fan and I don't have "Global", but I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Especially enjoyed the encore, where Todd shreds through some of his...
Let the Eddie bashing........begin!
(Personally, I'm a big fan).
Simon - I listen through the receiver. Bass not an issue, vocals not very warm sounding...
Thanks Sergio, will give that a try.
I recently splurged on a pair of more expensive (than I've had in the past) headphones, Beyerdynamic 660s. My question has to do with my 10 band equalizer. I've been having trouble getting settings...
Saw the show in Annapolis MD Thursday night. First time seeing the band and pleasantly surprised at just how much I enjoyed the show. During the show, Carl broke a stick, which he tossed overhead to ...
I thought the title of the thread made it obvious...
Just for fun, folks!
I had this idea for a while, finally tracked down a talented puppet maker who brought this guy to life!

Well said, Patelena!
Does the Japanese cd have snaps, crackles and pops?
Esoteric - I sent a private message, please check your notifications. Thanks!
Got one of the last orchestra seats in York! Show sold out in an hour, although there was a pre-sale for members of the theatre, no doubt scalpers joined! Top ticket was only $82.
Cd arrived yesterday, plenty of pops, clicks and hum! Sent it back! I have a boot cd from a few years ago that sounds much cleaner! What a disappointment!
$65 two years ago in Pennsylvania for a first row seat AND I got to meet him after the show!
Finally!!!!

...At least Bonham had the class to stop playing with his band after they lost an original member!
Bonham was great at what he did, Roger is more versatile. Bonham couldn't play with Queen, but I bet Roger could handle himself nicely in Zeppelin. Just one drummer's opinion.
Some nice moments on "Blessing In Disguise". Especially "The Sweetest Kiss".
A recent cartoon, submitted to a couple of the music mags, nobody knows what to do with it, so I thought I would share it here!
Enjoy!
