I've had blu ray discs which won't play...until I perform a system update on my player. Then they will play perfectly.
I wanted to like this album. Darren Lock's review summed up my feelings about it perfectly. Bland, aimless prog-wallpaper.
Hahaha! Fantastic.
Hammond L100, I believe.
The extras on the blu ray are excellent. Watched them last night. It highlights the extraordinary level of detail in the movie.
I attended military boarding school in the 60's. My 8th grade roomate had a copy of Freak Out!, which opened my ears to music other than the Top 40 hits of that era. I subsequently became interested...
Outstanding. Original. Ordered.
Yes "Open Your Eyes"
No effort whatsoever.
Shocking news. A huge influence for many musicians.
Thanks for your responses.
It's been getting some negative reviews on Amazon UK, regarding the mix. Does anyone here have a problem with the mix?

Amazon.uk says a February 2, 2015 release date.
White Ladies has some laughably bad narration. And while mostly instrumental, there are a couple of vocal tracks that don't do much for me either. The album lacks the fire of the first two.

The first generation Emax, which I believe this is one, had an analog filter. So it tends to be of greater value as a used instrument than the all digital Emax II.

Awesome show last night in San Francisco. I was dead-center in the balcony and had a great view of everyone. My only quibble was that P@'s Muir-isms could have been miked louder. Mel adds an...

Oberheim OB1 on the left. On the right...Custom cabinet containing some kind of apparently (custom?) Oberheim gear...looks similar to a SEM with programmer. And a Minimoog.

Is it possible to record an Oldfield homage, and not have it so close to Oldfield's style?
I've now listened to this album a bunch of times. It's extremely well done and enjoyable...but it strikes me as strange. Rob is obviously a very talented guy. Why not record something more original,...
My wife passed away three years ago; but she was one of those rarest of females who would accompany me to Crimson concerts. And enjoy it, too!
My copy arrived yesterday, and I immediately played the 5.1 mix. I'm knocked-out at how great it sounds. For decades I've preferred Thick as a Brick to A Passion Play. I now have a whole new...
Love it. Love it. Love it.

(The cover may be better than the album???)
...and a Mini Moog. :)
Bizarre, that this would turn up after all these years.
"Feel Flows" and "Funky Pretty". Check em' out...
Although I think it was a brand of synth other than a Moog...Patrick Moraz' solo in the middle of "The Gates of Delirium" is a favorite.

So...where's the ribbon controller?
Glory is Rachael.

I was a real estate agent for many years. I can't tell you the number of times that I worked long and hard for clients, and was never paid.

Yamaha CS-80...a beast! Probably the most famous keyboardist using it was Eddie Jobson.
I haven't even listened to all the live stuff from the LTIA box, yet. Gonna pass on this.
I was at the Cow Palace show in San Francisco. KC was the middle act...Strawbs opened and Ten Years After was the headliner. I believe it was the first time I saw Crimson live, and I was blown...
At what point does the almighty buck outweigh artistic integrity?
"And You And I" for Match.com?
Saw this Volkswagen Passat ad on TV a couple of days ago. Interesting that the advertising agency went with a cover version. Kinda makes me wonder what we'll see next...The Gates of Delirium...

A lot better than I thought it would be...and more rockin' than I thought, too. Endless Enigma and Tarkus work the best for me. Orchestration on Tarkus is creative and colorful. The drummer can be...
