Thank you!
Hey everyone,
Cleaning out my shelves and have the recently released Silent Singing (Ultimate Edition) signed from Ian Anderson book....
Absolutely loving this record. After repeat listens little nuances from Wilson's songwriting creeps in on you as you get used to the songs. It's one of the main reasons I love this stuff.....
Top...
Hey everyone,
I had the pleasure of hanging with Dave this morning for an interview on my channel. We talk about everything from his solo career, his upcoming album "The Traveler", Sound of...
Absolutely incredible drummer. One of the nicest musicians I've ever met. Quickly ran downstairs and recorded a cover of my favorite Yes tune "Endless Dream" in tribute. One of the more overlooked...
Where is this list signup?
Has anyone picked this one up yet? Another fantastic album by Pete Jones. This guy can do it all!
I'm particularly loving "Mad March Hare". It's chorus has a very Genesis/proggy sound that I love....
I did a (not great, okay) drum cover of TFF's latest single this afternoon. Thought some of you may enjoy. Looking forward to hearing the rest of this album!

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I did a "one man band" version of a Trans-Siberian Orchestra classic and thought some of you might enjoy it!
Happy Holidays!

I logged on to Ticketmaster when tickets went on sale.
Had some great seats last night for Boston Night 1. Took a video of the Firth of Fifth solo and wanted to share it with you all!

My Super Deluxe Ultimate Signature Edition arrived yesterday and it's absolutely gorgeous. Even has all the lyrics to the yet-unreleased album.
Definitely a nice hefty collector's item. Great...
Wow, that prayer for peace song is beautiful.
Well, they aren't wrong.
But, "you never know when the Domino effect might strike you next!"
Is your signature Marillion?
Awesome - Night 2 tonight! I saw the footage of The Lamb from Night 1 and it was so cool seeing New York scream "On broooooodway" together. With Phil giving the thumbs up and a big grin right after!
He absolutely was - during the insane part of Anesthetize I can still hear the guy behind me repeatedly going "my god....oh my god". Incredible concert!
Definitely seems like it. Or totally related. Another incredible song. This is going to be a wonderful album!
Great write up. Thanks Steve!
I'm hitting the second MSG show and both Boston shows. Can't wait. Only a couple weeks away.
Mostly looking forward to seeing Duchess live. That's a gem I haven't...
Edit.
/not worth it
You DO know the history of the Beatles right?
Which taco stand did this happen at? I have to visit it, it's historical!
An IEM mix bootleg just surfaced on the Movement website and it's Phil's. Quite interesting to sit and listen to what he wants in his ears this tour. His vocal mix is (obviously) loudest. You gotta...
Looks like they replaced Duchess with Misunderstanding for the US Leg. Bummer, was really looking forward to seeing that one live.
He just posted this response to one of his comments:

I can't be the only one who thinks SW's vocals are extremely under mixed in the overall volume of the new track? I haven't got a clue what he's singing.
Are you havin' a laugh? Is he havin' a laugh???
Had no idea there was an official Genesis forum.
Me too. I think that's the pinnacle moment of the album, that closing section of the song.
Thanks for watching!
Hey guys (and gals),
I had the pleasure of sitting down with Ray Wilson yesterday morning to discuss his new album, his early music roots, his time in Genesis (including the audition, the tour,...
Jonatha Brooke is just incredible.
I had the chance to interview Nic Collins last month and he mentioned they recorded the entire show in hi-def to document it. So there is a fully recorded show already!
Had the pleasure of chatting with Steve today about the new album, upcoming tour, drummers, and even Prokofiev! Thought some of you might enjoy:

The press release states to get ready for their upcoming 2021/2022 tour.
Does that mean another leg next Spring too?
I did a drum attempt of "Turn It On Again" today for anyone remotely interested:

Bumping this thread. I was fortunate enough to chat with Nic Collins this morning about rehearsals and the upcoming Genesis tour, his new band Better Strangers, that new 1973 Genesis footage, and...
Ultimate Edition sold out already, before general announcement.
That's $70,000 done.
Surprisingly (maybe not?) the Ultimate Edition is still available and hasn't sold out.
I remember I was online to get tickets to a Bruce Springsteen book signing for his latest autobiography a few...
Hey everyone,
I'm not sure if this is of any interest, but Ian's new book, containing the complete lyrics of both Tull and his solo career is now available for preorder ahead of the public Rolling...

The entire Vapor Trails album..... before the remastering.....
It's a nice performance but the 2-CD sonic quality is a bit "weak" sounding. It's kept me away from regularly listening to it over the years.
You're faster than most, you bloody king ghost.
Well, it's release day! Anyone on here have any opinions on the record?
I've been spinning it a couple days now (got my copy early!) and the Overture of the extended version is definitely my...
Very interesting about the blow up during the Going Back rehearsals and Phil arriving "radically different".
That Orianne woman really has taken a toll on Phil over the last decade or so. She's at...
