"A little prick will help your little prick"
Wow. Two no-hitters already!
Trying to convince my GF to watch this, as it looks like something she may enjoy. I think it looks pretty cool.
We're also interested in Mare of Easttown, 1) because it looks interesting and has...
To add on to what others have said, I went through a pretty serious bout of "COVID Fatigue" in February. February isn't a great month for me, in general, as I think I suffer from a mild form of...
Completely agree.
Tall Ships grabbed me right away. That "I got your words" vocal thing was addictive. Map of the Past took a little longer to sink in, but I really like it now. Still prefer Tall Ships, but I...
Well that was thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you so much for posting it. What a great document of that time.
The problem is that you're asking them to take money out of their own pockets. No one is going to vote in favor of that.
I've seen the first 4-5 episodes, and that's the best I can say about it, too. Really neat idea, but I'd like to see it go somewhere.
Absolutely.
Unlikely, at this point.
This is the problem. It's really unbelievable how much misinformation is out there, and how susceptible people are to it.
Some may find this helpful:

I just finished Devs, on Hulu. Alex Garland's foray into TV, it shares the same spooky vibe as his film, Ex Machina. Nick Offerman is the biggest star, and he's really good in this understated...
U.S. calls for a "pause" in J&J vaccinations as 6 people out of 7 million have experienced blood clot issues.
That would be fantastic.
And Mexico should pay for it. ;)
Okay. Now I need this to happen.
So this Trevor Bauer doctored ball thing is interesting.
I haven't followed the whole thing closely, but he apparently made some allegations about guys spin rates going through the roof when they...
Jed - The Tall Ships is Mitchell's first album with the band and does not feature Dunnery. It's a fantastic album, IMO.
If the choice is to "jump the line" or waste the vaccine, jumping the line is the preferable choice. Bottom line is that we need as many as possible to get vaxxed, so if you have an opportunity like...
Just got an appt. for next Friday! YAY!
Saw a news report this morning that many of the southern U.S. states who removed mask mandates, etc. and also are showing drops in cases coincidentally also have the lowest test rates in the country....
Yeah, he nailed that part.
Total bummer.
:up
I got into Marillion when I heard "Kayleigh," and then MTV told me that they were a prog band. I picked up Misplaced Childhood, listened to it a few times, really liked it, and then put it away, for...
My pharmacist girlfriend says the same thing.
Really liked that. I'll have to seek out more.
Sounds like something I'd like, then. I like these shows that you have to "close watch" to catch every detail. Even if I have to watch a video or listen to a podcast to pick up on the things I...
Phillip Baker Hall and Phillip Seymour Hoffman in the same film??? Is that even allowed?
This sounds like one I'd like. Adding it to the list.
We watched Chef on Netflix last night, starring Jon Favreau, John Leguizamo, Sophia Vergara, and a whole lot of other names we're all familiar with.
What a fun film. Jon Favreau plays the...
This is on my list. I'm curious for your thoughts, Steve.
We just finished The Head, on HBO Max, on the recommendation of that dude above me, here.
Really enjoyed it. Set on Antarctica, it's almost "And Then There Were None," but told in flashbacks. I...
+1
MLB is moving this year's All-Star game from Atlanta. No announcement yet on where it will be.
Florida's cases are actually steadily climbing again since March 15, according to the NYT.
Yep. Same here.
Just found out yesterday that I'm now eligible, and I signed up through my employer. I'm pretty stoked. I originally thought I would get vaxxed in the Fall, then around July,...
I think the economy will bounce back rather quickly, as those who think this whole thing is a farce will continue their dangerous behavior, those who are just sick of being cooped-up will flood back...
No Opening Day for you either, Mets & Nats fans.
Hart hasn't played in a while - for that reason. And the defense just isn't good.
It's often painful to be a Flyers fan.
Happy Opening Day, boys!
(Not so fast, Baltimore and Boston fans)
It must be something when Nick Beggs is the most "normal-looking" guy in the picture

Might be worth watching just to see him try to pronounce those 3-syllable words.
It just sends a message, however small, that the producers of the show should be ashamed for even considering him as host. They lost a LOT of integrity over this, IMO.
Collectivism vs. Individualism.
Pennsylvania looks on in wonder.
Damn, Yodel. You really dodged it, there. Thank God you're safe.
I just find something else to do/watch for these two weeks.
Same here. I need to watch this, apparently.
I really liked this one. But you can really only watch it once.
Highly recommended.
Excellent news. Thanks for keeping us updated, Peter.
Finished The Boys last night. Wow. A lot to take in during that last episode.
Oh, just you wait.....
It's on my radar because it stars Eve Hewson, who was also in the excellent Behind Her Eyes.
Yeah, I think this may have been posted elsewhere. Great interview. I've seen pieces of it "borrowed" on other sites all over FB, etc.
No, they don't. Just look at most left-hander's moves to first.
I'd prefer a referee not even know the "continuum" and just call the things they "see."
Awful.
Probably a good idea.
Dumb.
