Yes, Braide/Downes is a great outlet for Downe's approach. It references the Buggles but also sounds timeless in a way that Asia doesn't. Maybe that's intentional, the 80's sound clearly has its fans.

This. I’m a big fan of the 3 albums by Perfect Beings, very much a Yes-influenced band. Vier I thought was a stunning achievement, taking a Tales-like structure and making it modern.

i like the Daily Doug videos where he admits to some familiarity with the song and there's sheet music to refer to, then you get some really good analysis.

There's not a bad album in the whole lot of Genesis solo debuts in my opinion.

On the bright side, Tony doesn't seem to age :)
