Nice one! Thanks!

No BLUE?
Great work!
Some great choices from a couple of great movies. Have yet to see A Quiet Place in the Country (with Franco Nero and Vanessa Redgrave), but Wake up and Die is a very underrated little gem. And the...
Thanks! Just what I needed!
Technically speaking that would be Händer from 1980. But I think you're referring to the band with Patrik and Aleena on vox. That's Note From the Past from 2002. That one and the couple after that,...

Thanks! Hopefully it'll get a screening over here... They do screen a movie about AHA, so here's hoping ...
Scored this last sunday for a mere €2. Really enjoying it. Yes, I already knew the YT vids, but the CD is the "real deal" for me :)
Great album that gets better and better if you ask me.
That "other" bass player (Richard Sinclair) wasn't bad either.

The addition of Mel...
It occurred to me that Italian band Panna Fredda literally copied(?) the pastoral chord progression of the first part of Gracious' Heaven for their song Un Re Senza Reame. They seem to "just" have...
There's an Anekdoten song in the very weird Spanish Horror movie El Ultima Fin de Semana. I was quite surprised :)
IL SOGNO DI RUBIK Teaser.

The demo version of "Manuel" was on the third Cyclops sampler from 1997. It's how I initially got to know the band. Bought the album right after that. I think it also was my first introduction to...
Love both albums and the live/ demo.
Sure they're not as complicated or intricate as Änglagård, but they were never trying to.
I do consider them more Folk-Prog with some symphonic tendencies......
I'm intrigued. Thanks!
Robert Fripp's version of Here Comes the Flood. But technically it might not be a cover?
Really? Missed the EP? The new album is due this year. It's a concept called "The Story of Mr. Bogd".

Yes, they're even writing new material.
They're working on some new pieces, but this great virus is slowing things down.
Meanwhile...from the DVD:

Yeah, it's a great one. One of the better "sax driven" RPI albums. Many a times the sax is in fact the weaker instrument. As a player myself, there's quite some cringe inducing sax playing in RPI.
This entirely.
Yeah, that's it. Sold the bunch (see above) and I already had the bonus CD which came with the Don't try this at Home DVD....
Hopefully there will be some European dates as well. Last time was pandemically cancelled.
The Gold disc sounds great IMO.
I loved the previous one. Will grab this as soon as I can.

My first Flower Kings album. Still great!
The Meatloaf in this clip would agree!

El Bicho is a good example of a more modern approach of Flamenco Rock. Not overtly Proressive, but at least they have a Spanish Ian Anderson playing the flute!
I like the energy.
...
Love this album. I have the Si-Wan release which sounds great. Most Si-Wan releases do.
Will watch the video later.
I guess it's the new tunes that count on this one. Always a big admirer of Di Palo's voice. I'm glad he joined Gianni Belleno on this one.
Anekdoten.
There's a seven year gap between the last few, so here's hoping ;)
Paatos.
They're rehearsing/ recording at the moment.
I just sent Stefan Dimle a message about the "Box Set dream". Let's see what he has to say about it! And that Melloboat material.
And where is his complete Melloboat performance? Dear Stefan Dimle is the sluggiest Swede I know!

Thanks everyone! Especially Udi for pointing me to that website (the link was in the vid.. duh!). With a little help from an online translator I found out Kenner made this and took it to a few people...
Yesterday I heard this song for the first time and was really impressed by it. I did a search online, but didn't find much info on the song. Was this released on any album? Discogs wasn't any good...
Listen to La Sagrada Familia. John Miles was way more the "Music" (was my first Love), which was his only big hit here in Europe.
If I don't play an album anymore, I try to sell it. So why would I buy an album in the first place, when I know for sure I'm not going to listen to it? Doesn't make sense to me.
In my pre-internet...
The strange thing is, people seem to have completely missed this incredible band here!
Released last year and perhaps the best thing in years! I listened to it last year and forgot about it :(...
I have the Crucis twofer and it's great! Touch of jazz in places. Bit like Moraz.
Not a very big Floyd fan, but this one is one of my favorites. I have the Gold Disc which sounds perfect!
And this just in:
Kornmo with Fimbulvinter
https://kornmo1.bandcamp.com/
Somewhat of a Fruitcake (Pål Søvik) vibe in places.
Is this Sepia enough?
Bought the CD a few years back. It's really great!
Fredrik Klingwall from Anima Morte.

Hey thanks, that's fun! There's even Carlo Rambaldi's (SFX for E.T., Alien, Dune, Neverending Story and more) mechanical spider (at 0:57) in there from Il Boia Scarlatto/ Bloody Pit of Horror...
I always get a Halloween vibe from thes creepy, but beautiful video by Kent:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bubOcI11sps
If you like your videos weird and wonderful, watch this. It fits the Halloween theme pretty good IMO. It's not a music video, but the music there is, is by Alamaailman Vasarat:

Anekdoten's Nicklas Barker's score for El Último Fin de Semana. A film by Norberto Ramos del Val. A really weird, low budget horror/...

AFAIK there was never an official Suspiria video by Goblin, only some later live stuff.
This video I have on one of my Suspiria DVDs somewhere.
...
Bought this one a few years back during a sale. I really enjoyed it. Fot an American band they have quite a European sound. And as said earlier, the sound is great! Bob Drake knows his stuff :)
I opted for a somewhat cheaper option. €37 is a bit steep for me. Even if it's Lupo ;)
Ordered mine through Amazon.it. €23 delivered.
I'll wait :)
Lupo Galifi's CD has been delayed till december.
Did they get their band name from Goblin's song "Mad Puppet" (from Argento's Profondo Rosso)?
If not, listen anyway. It's a cool (Tubular Bells inspired) song!
...
Initially I'm a bit disappointed. Musically it is indeed a big achievement, but to me the music doesn't 'feel' like RPI. I was really hoping it would.
Anyway, need te revisit a couple of times,...
Mine arrived today, through Amazon.
On a more serious note, where to put this on the shelf in the collection?
I have a main section, a Swedish section and an Italian section.
OCD error!
The CD has both versions.
^and for this exact reason they provide both.
It's all in the ear of the beholder.
Zarathustra was my first dive into RPI. The name Pit Corradi turned up while reading the Morte Macabre booklet and I just had to check it out :)
There's also some MR influences in Änglagård's "Kung...
Initially I didn't like the album, but it since has grown on me and is now one of my very favorites by them.
Did a quick search an lo and behold, found the answer:
Hey thanks! Love the man!
Oh, I see I need this one as well :D
