Nailed it.
Saywhatnow!?
Actually, I can add heaps more "+" refs in that all of my music and book orders have landed with only the occasional slight delay. :up
That would no doubt be better than the truth. :lol
I forgot to relate this one the other day.
A few months back was the first and last time I ordered cat litter online (what the hey, it was a deal). The day of, I waited and watched the tracking so...
These guys will never live down that cover (and its accompanying video) of "Get Down Tonight."
Better make sure they're not filming a fourth Jackass film. :lol
:rofl
Hey, Jen!
Where's Cyndee?
It didn't happen to me, but a guy over here ordered a Black & Decker Circular Saw and it got delivered...
...to Home Depot!!! :lol:lol:lol
Another one-off classic. Too bad Laura Basla vanished, apart from a sudden appearance on one song off that Momo album by Alessandro Farinella.
Yeah, that's a good one.
It's amazing how many people are unable to read the numbers on a house or building. :rofl
OR, for the same low, low price of $902.81 you can buy the last new copy of Bill Connors' Assembler...!!
...
I used to work with a gal who liked this band. "Aterciopelo" is velvet, hence the name of the band is "The Velvet Ones."
I listened to the Super Trio live album (Corea, Gadd, McBride) the other day on YT and that's badass.
And I didn't like Akoustic Band way back when, either...
Might be hard to make that happen now, unfortunately...
$1299 is indeed WAY more reasonable. It sounds awesome, too!
Erik was also involved with, and demoed, the Alesis Fusion. I saw Erik play a solo set (no backup players) way back in 2001. He had his modular setup and various hardware synths, plus Greg Walker's...
Was this thread really dormant for over a month?
Do they still sell that, or a scaled-down version? It seems like a really powerful machine. If Erik Norlander uses it, it must be great.
RIP to a genuine leviathan of the keyboard. Even if he'd vanished before he formed Elektric Band, Chick's rep would be intact.
Damn... :(
Another B5 fan here. Major bummer. RIP.
Holy shit. Sierra was everywhere back then. I just saw him a few weeks back in the Columbo episode, "Publish or Perish"! RIP.
Sorry, but they're a horribly overrated band.
:lol

I got into Heep and Purple much later. Love 'em. AC/DC is a fun band, but I've never been a devoted fan. I own a couple albums. Between those other bands (and not counting metal, per se), there was...
I concur Marching to Mars is a superb modern-sounding hard rock album from Sam. Of his post-VH output, I like a few more subsequent albums, with and without the Wabos, but he hasn't matched Mars.

Listen to "Make It Last" from the first album. That alone is worth the price of admission. Montrose, Thin Lizzy, Blue Öyster Cult and, later, Van Halen, pretty much defined hard rock, at least for me.
For all the praise Appetite gets, it's not a pimple on the ass of Fair Warning.
This.
:rofl
:lol
Exactly. :up
Wow, I am loving this new one by Solstice. I just watched a bunch of videos for songs from this new album, and I bought the second-to-last copy on eBay with the nicest price. :up
Switch out the 'phones!
No idea. If so, I missed it. The liner notes read:
"The final soundtrack consisted of partial elements of this rejected score together with various pieces of early 80s Schulze recordings edited...
It dropped without much fanfare, but a previously unreleased 1982 soundtrack by Klaus Schulze titled Next of Kin can be heard here.

RIP. I like Mind Exploding and Banquet a lot.
Anyone here watch a great 2018 movie made by Leigh Whannell, called Upgrade?
It has an awesome score by a guy I've never heard of called Jed Palmer. It's available only on vinyl, though.
...
:rofl
Aw, sheesh. That's a bummer. Looking forward to the new (now posthumous) album.
WHAT cables??? :lol That has to be the cleanest, tightest home studio I've seen in an age.
Beyond Reality and A Live Experience got many spins over here. So did Al-bandaluz.
Definitely underrated. I listened to them a lot in the 90s. I haven't checked out their last couple albums and I need to get on the ball.
:horns :cool :horns
:up
Indeed, but not surprised, honestly.
Original drummer Steve Negus left the band in 2003.
Anyone know how many units ADKOT sold?
Eric Bloom is 76 today!
Aw, man...that woulda been kerr-azy!
:lol
:(
Three faves, if I can even narrow them down (not easy), are "That Was Me," "The Alchemist" and "Nightmare Epiphany." Just a rad album, all around.
"Beats Workin'" is the best song! :D
Wolf is making some radio appearances next week, starting with Howard Stern on Monday.

Who else plays on it?
Looking forward to your remarks. I like the song that was posted.
And Rik Emmett.
People better snag EB. It's OOP. Get it while it's $30 shipped. That's the W-O-R-D! :cool
