I hope that helps. Thanks for your interest.
Very funny. I amended my post to say "Everyone who ever played live"
You caught me off gaurd & early on Christmas, I forgot the general tone around here :)
This was created at the end of 2014, before the passing of Chris Squire.

This is amazing footage. On the first number, you get...
Very sad news. Here is an interview from September- with Marc Maron. He ( Maron ) conducts wonderful interviews, wish his musical tastes included many of the artists we talk about on this forum....
I had the privilege of receiving music from The Tea Club to play on Time Trip Radio. I agree with you, these guys are amazing.
I am surprised and very happy to see all the interest & love for Oregon and all the recent responses to this thread. I feel much the same as you John K. : Collin's passing seems to be lingering with...
Amazing album. Actual "classical Rock". At first, "The Duel" & "The Cloister" were the ones that grabbed me [ as well as being very impressed with the opener "The Journey" & the haunting "The...
Stephen Stills. I rest my case.
Your review made the event sound very special. Thank you, hope you're feeling comfortable & on the mend!
I did not know there was a deeper Robert Wyatt connection. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. I am envious of the many great artists you have perhaps seen living in Oslo!
Thank you very much for this! The videos are and music in your first post are also new to me. Much obliged.
Thank you for this.
Thanks for this. I will be exploring her work more deeply! Happy Friday!
Thanks for the inside info. You are very fortunate to have seen her. Happy Friday!
I am embarrassed to say I just discovered this amazing woman [ being a fan of her father for some 40 years now ]!
Spreading the word now!

As someone already mentioned earlier in the thread "L" & "Freeze Frame" by Godley & Creme are excellent choices.
Anja Garbarek is amazing!

Bought the boxset yesterday. WOW. Yessongs is the 1st album I bought by Yes in 1973.
Here's a fun little game: not to be taken seriously.
There is proof on the boxset that Yes are, were and always...
Some will argue this is not prog. No matter. If your friend likes CSNY, I believe they will love this: "Epic Forest" by Rare Bird. Every track could have been a classic rock staple.
...
I know this is off topic & seems like self promotion ... But we at TIME TRIP RADIO are actually helping change the perceptions of "classic rock". I read the above comments on radio & I am compelled...
Yes was referenced by none other than Fred Armisen on Conan. I just came across this, so don't get all bent if this has been posted already.

Thank you for all of your replies. The end of another [ present ] era for a band I have enjoyed since 1975. Onwards & upwards to all concerned.
Thanks for your reply. Sounds like a great meeting. Glen is indeed a very funny & warm human being.
If by " ... how many years has it been ... " you mean - how long is Moore's association with...
Thank you for your reply. The project of doing Ralph Towner's music has been in the works for a while. Thanks for your clarifications.
Can anyone here confirm, deny or shed some light on this? I am not posting this to spread rumors, I really would just like to know.
All started from seeing this on Facebook this morning:...
Also may I add: many, many people @ Dead shows [ especially in the 80s & beyond ] were there for the party. The Dead were associated in the press with the "hippie vibe" and that perception just grew...
I write this as an avid fan of YES since 1973, and as a more recent Dead fan.
The Dead were a more "everyman" band. You could relate to the Dead as an average human who had a job, or went to school....
Nights 3 & 4 of the YES imaginary live reunion are up: www.timetripradio.com
Also a 1975 Tangerine Dream show. Plus recent King Crimson. Also some Oregon & John Zorn & more.
Enjoy!
Got tix for Chicago !!!!!
Great thread. I love these guys. The drumming of Steve Shehan is fantastic also, don' t you think?
Very unique sound, similar only to moments of Oregon. Spread the Hadouk love!
Thank you for the heads up. We were waiting until payday - Friday to try and get seats. However your post prompted me to go online & get 2 standing seats.
Better safe than sorry. Thanks again.
...
Thank you for taking the time to respond. I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for listening and taking the time to respond.
That is sort of how I envision it. People coming & going throughout the evening, revolving line ups.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the podcast.
Tune in, turn on & tell me:)
ooops
Should be up fairly soon!

Thanks for this most excellent news. I would hope there might be enough interest for a U.S. tour.
The band Oregon has rich & diverse beauty in their canon. All acoustic until 1982. They were there before "smooth jazz" or "new age". Oregon is a far cry from either of these categories. They...
I saw that last week, and nearly jumped outta my seat - and was too lazy to post. Thanks for posting :)

Did not know about this book Thanks. Love Kate!
