That’s a song on Tardigrade. Their last and best album.
RIP Bill. His music has been on my ‘to buy list’ but that will change to ownership asap.
Nice surprise, my 12/17 order arrived today. The original text communication confirming my order stated they would send me another note when it shipped. They never did but item received in good...
I ordered 12/17 for shipment to Chicago. No activity or communication since.
I ordered on 12/17. Still no shipment notice.
Although I have a backlog of music to get through, I couldn't freakin resist! I only have the Christmas album so mostly new(ish) material to enjoy for years to come!
I always look forward to a new GH release!
Very sorry to hear this. Phil left a great legacy of outstanding music for future generations to enjoy.
RIP Rick and thank you for the great music left behind for us to enjoy.
Yes very cool!
I’m in the “love it” camp. Need to give it a spin again very soon. Been a while.
I’m with you regarding the first Egg. I love it and personally prefer it to Civil Surface (by a wide margin). Polite is tops but love the raw energy on the first one.
Listening and enjoying my copy as we speak. Good, festive stuff!
I was in the need of Grides so timing of deal was great
One of my favs:
Neuschwanstein Battlement (although not a newer band)
Riverside - Wasteland
Glass Hammer - Dreaming City
Zopp - st
Cheer Accident — No Ifs, Ands or Dogs
I’m fortunate to love them both equally!
My Amazon UK delivery date has changed to November 25. WTH.
I get an early Mars Volta vibe from this album so yes, a lot going on to absorb.
Within the last week, I picked up the following live Zappa:
- Roxy Performances 7 CD box
- Make a Jazz Noise Here 2 CDs
- The Best Band You Never Heard 2 CDs
It will take me over a month to...
It’s on my list to get! Also curious of others’ experience with this one.
I watched the documentary today and did not notice anything out of sync.
How do you guys rate this new release with Far Corner’s previous efforts?
If better or worse, how so?
I have been on the lookout to grab Live for a long time. Need to reignite my search!
My opinion is that the first four are essential:
Kraan
Wintrup
Andy Nogger
Let it Out
I have been told that Live is also essential but I don't own it so can't state an opinion.
I'm good with it all! Thanks GH!
This is where my head and ears are at as well! Outstanding.
I just ordered Putting Off Death as well.
Related to Seventh House, I’m in the “love it” camp!
I agree with all of your thoughts on this release!
I’m aligned with ThomasK. Did not expect to like it too much but actually LOVE it. Spun it 3 or 4 times and looking forward to the next listen.
Can anyone comment on the loudness and overall mix of the show you went to? Were instruments and vocals clearly distinguishable? Any need for earplugs? Etc..
Any inside info from anyone that would hint at new material being worked on?
I enjoy all Echolyn eras and would love to look forward to a new release.
First and foremost, I hope you feel better and can enjoy all the wonderful Prog music in the world for a very long time!
Scuffs on my disk as well. Haven’t played it yet but will report back if there are any issues..
Thanks. I have Toronto and wonder if another is needed. If I do get one, it will either be Chicago or Vienna.
How does the Live in Vienna compare to Chicago? Anyone listen to that one yet?
Sorry. above was in reference to this...
I was not offended by this. I do not agree that Camel is 85% pop. Maybe the ST era skewed more pop but their '70 output I would quantify as >85% Prog.
Why not start with Script??
I agree this is a fantastic release. Their best of the ones I've heard.
Trilogy for me. My fav ELP.
Anyone hear clips or the entire album?? Please share your thoughts.
My understanding is only two original members are part of this release but one is the lead singer.

This new remaster has a MUCH higher dynamic range (12 vs 7 for original) and you can hear it immediately. It sounds fantastic!
Heavy compression is something I like to avoid if possible. Anyone compare the Esoteric releases?
What's the consensus regarding the BGO two-fer of In Spite of Harry's Toe-Nail / Lady Lake?
Specifically looking for thoughts on sound quality. Thanks.
Musical Box for me. Chills every time!
Thanks for the suggestion. Worked like a charm!
What tools and approach do you use to rip the DVD A's to hi res flacs?
On mine, they signed the back. Did they really sign the front cover?
Listening to this as we speak. Very nice stuff! Only album i have from these guys.
The 2012 remaster of Joe's Garage 1/2/3 sounds incredible! Highly recommended.
Dear Ken,
You will be missed! RIP.
