Yeah, if it had a decent video of a whole show I'd be tempted.
I don't have that LP anymore. I bought it used in 1977 I think.
I have the US Carnegie & Jap live CDs. Lowdown and 1 other was sung...
Oh, and I'm another proponent for Cherry Audio. Great sound and their instruments are really well designed. AND very inexpensive for what you get.
Wow, I didn't know about the Osmose. I'm in on that for sure. I don't like the feel of the Roli and this thing comes close enough to what I want.
Also, I didn't know the Touche was what they put on...
Loved George. He was such a natural.
I liked Just Shoot Me too
Fun With Dick and Jane was good, but my favorite was The Duchess and the Dirtwater Fox with Goldie Hawn.
RIP George.
Happy 90 Cap'n.
All those stops at Rigel 7 did wonders!
Very nice indeed!
Got my finger on the trigger to order the new The Flying Caravan CD
Found out earlier tonight about losing Uncle Norm to cancer. Hadn't heard anything about him since he had sepsis a few years ago. Had some great times with Norm and greatly saddened I won't see him...
Thanks for the post. That was a good interview. The Townsend whammy bar story was cringe worthy!
I've loved Simons work since Smallcreeps Day. I've seen him play a few times including The Who in...
Looks like another winner.
Just finished the last one yesterday. What a great set!
Thanks Matt!
RIP dear Delenn.
B5 is also my favorite all time show. I've only just got the wife through the shadow war a few months ago before we paused the series. Time to pick it up again.
So many of the...
I never got all the issues I subscribed for. However, I did receive an invoice begging for renewal. Funny how that has no problem getting through.
The best interpretation of a Syd song I've heard is RPWL's Opel. Especially in 5.1 sound. Stunning.
Just listened to the whole thing again today. Love it!
I'm gonna guess that Gergo Borlei is a Shadow find. Sounds like your influence Ed!
Hope you guys have a great Holiday in all this mess....
Oh, not heard of that. Likely impossible to find, but I'll try anyway!
Thanks.
After writing that I scored one reasonably priced on ebay. Thanks for the lead!
Props to Kiyo Sen again. Yum!
And always great to hear Cruise Missile. And Nuclear Apathy. And Communion. And Cinderella Search.
Just great!
Lots of good ones this year.
However, a late contender really caught my ear last night.
Sonus Umbra - A Sky Full of Ghosts
Outstanding CD Luis!
But they have it under control!
That's great news.
Dave is also working on the 50th annv dvd. That was one of the most amazing weekends of music we've ever attended.
You wanna hear some smokin' Kilminster? This is one of my very favorite live discs. Not sure how available it is anymore though. This is one killer live set with Dave on fire!
John Wetton -...
I second that. Always enjoyable.
We caught the later show because we were watching the IQ Subterranea show at 3pm. Both shows were a badly needed treat.
I too miss Benoit. I just felt his voice fit that era of the band better. But...
3 of my favorite Muppets. Outstanding!
That's a great setlist Matt. I'll be tuning in next week. Loving the Kiyo-Sen. Thanks!
I got some back issues, but no Wakeman. Last I got was Fish a couple two tree weeks ago. Not renewing.
There! Take my money! It's so worth it! :horns
I just ordered this from LE. Really excited to hear it!
auto-buy
Headin over to Bandcamp!
Yeah, I'm on V6 and my offer was $299
I've spent a fortune on these guys over the years!
And I want a PolyBrute!
All I saw was $299 upgrade. Where did you see $150?
I would upgrade for that to install on the new system....
...or maybe after they exorcize it!
I'm sticking with V6 until they have a reasonable upgrade price. V7 didn't offer me anything I needed. V8 would be nice, but not $300 nice. They should be $100 upgrades. I may consider $150 if they...
Yup, source material. Orion sound kicks ass. The rest sounded like Dime bootlegs. Still worth more than the price of admission and appreciated! We really enjoyed Progstock presentation.
You had your chance with Progstock!
I meant the Albert video. Responding to the comment above, which I though was for the video here.
The Rock of Ages should arrive today or so. Haven't seen that one yet.
The video was ok. I didn't think he sounded so bad. These guys are still doing it after all these years.
I ordered the Rock of Ages bluray, but couldn't find the Long Days Night bluray release...
Pre ordered. Yay!
Nice works Alan. Great sound. Thanks for sharing.
I was told way back then it didn't matter what color it was, but the picture discs were audibly terrible and wear out fast.
Oh goodie! Put me down for color. Thanks Mark.
Thanks for spearheading this Mark. Really looking forward to it.
Does the $250 level include black or color vinyl?
I liked that. Thanks for the post.
I've only ever had The Riddle from him and the recordings with Banks.
Bought it but haven't had the chance to listen yet.
Dean is an autobuy for me. Great stuff top to bottom.
More people should know of him.
Congrats on #600 Matt.
Another excellent one to happily distract me from 4 hrs of my workday!
Here's to another 600!
I upgraded to a Steinberg UR816c. Have a UR44 for sale (lightly used). Very clean and rock solid builds.
Have an old MOTU 828MK2 firewire that now collects dust. I liked it while I used it way...
They've handled this badly. Still nothing since 107. Renewal time....NOT!
My CD didn't show yet. Thanks Amazon! Vinyl is delayed.
That was great. Looking forward to #600.
Thanks Matt!
Yeah, that was great. Thanks.
Tuned into the Newsday Live release party last night with Buck and Eric and the interview was a bust. No volume! They played a couple videos (not that new one) and they...
I saw this tour last year. I loved Scenes in its entirety, however LaBrie's voice is shot. Lots of painful moments. I'm done with them.
My last issue received was 107 (Roger Dean) sometime way back when. Was told I'd be getting a backlog shipped. Another 4 weeks later.....nuthin'!
My subscription is probably up by now. If Barnes and...
This is my favorite era of TD.
You son of a bitch, I'm in! (on a Rick & Morty bing!)
The first box is beautiful, expect this will be as well. Quality stuff.
Great job Michael and all involved (Ann, Tom, etc).
We caught 5/8 of the shows. Hooffoot and Mad Fellaz were on fire with great sets and pro production.
Looks like the weather at Storybook was...
I contacted them and they said they were sending the back issues. My last one was 107 March with Yes. They did not give me digital access. It's renewal time and I may not.
Also, if you go to their...
Steve Hackett - Genesis In My Bed
I just listened to it all yesterday. Nice jazzy set Matt!
I did write down John Irvine to check out, I loved that.
Also always love the FM/Gilbert/Johnson cuts.
I finally got to see UFO for the first time last year. Was such a great show. They were one of the very best live bands from the 70s. Strangers In The Night is in my top 3 favorite live albums of all...
Good album. Lots to enjoy.
The dvd with the limited edition has Ezrin and Glover discussing the recording. Pretty cool but would've been much better with the whole band. I loved the soloing of...
Got my limited edition set from Kansas this week. CD/BluRay/LPs/Book. Very nice package, though very pricey like Wakeman's. I find both well worth it.
Thats a bummer Michael, but agreed it has to be.
Hope things turn around soon so we can resume our prog outings (family reunions!)
Good health to all.
