Ah nice! Look for the 10th anniversary "bonus disk" in September on its 10th "birthday". :)

Ah nice! Look for the 10th anniversary "bonus disk" in September on its 10th "birthday". :)
Since I know Rush have no studio tracks in the vaults, the only live stuff that I have interest in are high quality recordings from tours not represented on live albums. I bet we will continue to...
This was great Gruno! Gonna check out the earlier ones very soon. I appreciate the work. :)
But perhaps ironically, the "scaled down" venue is what got water damaged so ProgStock is actually "scaling up" the venue back to where it was in '17-'19. Only '20's virtual ProgStock will have been...
Yes we did. Thanks for saying something....anything about this release. Man is it hard to get people to show some love to a "collection" album in our neck of the woods or what?
He was always good to our band and I got to run into him in the flesh more than once over the years. Good guy. RIP.
I created a new post already. Jump on in!

Well, we have a way of selling digital copies of our music on our website so if some people are wise to that and know about Bandcamp taking 15% and want to give it all to the band then one can visit...
Thanks doh! Any thoughts on the new mixes or any other comments on the new tracks (first and last ones)? :)
I quit social media. Not getting that shirt is the first casualty of an otherwise excellent life choice. :)
I called it. I knew the announcement-made what feels like 10 minutes ago-was not really "the end". Weird.

I met Tom at a small NJ Prog one day festival in Elizabeth, NJ in 1995 when You Were Spiraling shared the stage with 3RDegree. I made sure we did that a few more times in the following years. Loved...
Mark, if a mastering engineer asks for more than $1500 to remaster this, go elsewhere
25th Anniversary version? Just sayin'
Yep. And based on what they "paid" us to play, all the more amazed.
It was good. I always search out true and excellent coffee purveyors when I plan my travels. Latest foreign lands I enjoyed coffee in were Quebec City and Montreal. Both full of great coffee.
Define “unnoticed”. I mean, they’ve played every Prog festival (and are headlining RoSfest next year and have been on the Yes boat) despite not really marketing themselves as a Prog band and they’re...
Announced at ProgStock 2019 for ProgStock 2020 were:
I/O Earth & California Guitar Trio
Just announced....
District 97 & Mile Marker Zero
Bill g: I love ALL those bands and they are all "unique" and mighty talented but Prog, well that's always a tough one to quantify. Some of Prefab Sprout's SWOON album is a wee bit proggy and some XTC...
You are ALL gonna want to listen to this!
BINGO! My very favorite song from them. :up
He wasn't at ProgStock like he was in previous years so I'm not sure what's up with John.
This was great! LOVE them. I shared this on Facebook big time. My share to the Big Big Train group-for obvious reasons-was well received. :)
I'm still digesting it. It's always interesting to see where you guys will go and now with the new members in tow. How did the tour go?
Interesting commentary. I kind of agree. Our "normal" shows are a total downer next to any festival appearance we've ever done. And I think we've entered into "festival only mode" more or less...
Well at a recent NJ show the front row was “ littered” with a few 30-something(?)-ish gorgeous women so...

Unbeknownst to me I caught one of their final shows 2 weeks ago in NJ. Fun show and my first Toto show.

Our stuff at CD Baby (every studio album CD) goes through Alliance I think. No fans complaining to us....yet.

Thanks for the support doh! Poisoned Youth: I think also that “Evening With...” shows with no openers didn’t help and Rush (might’ve been Neil) felt bad about not being able to give some exposure...
Agreed. Buying CDs instead of streaming and attending one festival a year plus attending local shows is pretty good support and I thank you for that! If everyone “aware” of new, independent...
Ah the key word missing there was “language”. Italians played last year but alas they did not open their mouths to sing!
Also, one of the dark horse favorites of the weekend was also a fusion-y...
Did Brand X have their Fusion Card revoked when I wasn’t looking and were Nektar granted American citizenship when I stepped out?

SO happy to hear the great responses above. Keep them coming! No postmortem has taken place as we're recuperating but personally I'd generally say we had less negative occurrences take place than...
Thanks Chad. Yes all including Tom are well aware and that was an unfortunate happening last year. I can’t remember now if it was one or more things that led to it but lesson learned and I believe...
To be fair, many people think of Jellyfish-as much as I love them-to be a tribute/rip-off/pastiche of Queen, Supertramp, etc. Funny to hear people calling out someone for taking from Jellyfish who so...
“Homeworld” stands up to their best work. Enjoyable album. Average overall.

Here's some great new videos-the first to give you a real taste of the "scene" at ProgStock:

...and I believe they will suspend all parking rules the whole weekend for parking on streets around venue.

If you don’t think they’re prog, listen to 2015’s GRAPPLING which is dense and hardly has a moment that’s not prog. I think the new album with exception of the epic track is an about face whereas QQQ...
Cut “Hard As Love” & “Paper Lies” and you guys have a point that Brave is better than AOS.

All decent suggestions including “nobody”. :) 3RDegree seem to be on indefinite hiatus but thanks for asking.

I agree with NF2. I felt a bit ripped off and didn't know it would basically be R40 in a theater. Bonuses weren't that big a deal. And...Yep, the bass and guitar were really high in the mix. I saw it...
Sad news indeed

Those who can't play....rank! ;)
Understood, but if you read my comments fully you'd hopefully see that I'm illustrating the benefit to going to festivals beyond the band choices. How many prog fans at any fest-NF included-sit in...
For many, to attend a festival where you don't want to see every band-or a great many of them-it just has to be that you like the festival atmosphere.
To me it makes less sense to decide to not...
First thing I heard/saw from RB was the perfect pitch videos with the kid and yes it was weird but I went on to check out the rest and I've been enjoying them especially when he isolates tracks in...
Thanks Rajaz! You are truly "supporting the scene" and I-as a member of a band-thank you for financing this very small economy we all call "the independent prog world". Ok, that's what I call it. ;)...
Just trying to drum up some fence sitters with a few perks but of course those who bought already have a better seat.

I think it's pretty great that after all these years we've got the one British magazine (Prog) and one American one (Progression) left-albeit way less often produced.
I agree with the praise above...
As it stands now the "nearby bar" is The Waiting Room and for Thursday night the pre-show is Total Mass Retain-the Yes tribute from the NYC area. Friday night is "the progressive coffeehouse" again...
Well, Phideaux's show will focus-I've heard-on his trilogy of albums the new INFERNAL, DOOMSDAY AFTERNOON and THE GREAT LEAP.
I think 3.2 will do stuff from their new/only album but I'd imagine...
