Indeed. I was going to mention "dance," but it's a given. You won't have dance without song. But, even those without the dance drive me nuts. It seems to be a trend.

Pretty much any commercial that breaks out into song.
Those and the Jardiance ones, the Mando/Lume ones, and the JD Wentworth ones. I rarely see the Burger King ones, because I don't watch the right channels, I suppose. But they are beyond terrible. I...
Sure you can. In fact, I could see Ike Willis doing a great job on the Apostrophe suite. Cosmik Debris is a song many could do justice with, IMO.
The dialogue is exhausting.
Gerrit Cole shut down for 1-2 months.
For now.
Yep, I just saw this posted today., Very tempting. I've seen him twice and he was really great.
The only gripe (albeit small) was the bass player doing the FZ impression in the first show on the...
I hear ya.
The only time I saw him was with Ringo's band in 1990. First time I ever saw him play guitar (rhythm on "No Time").
There's no finer voice in rock.
March is always a great month for TCM. Right now, it's the wildly funny "His Girl Friday" (1940), and after that "Mildred Pierce" (1945) with Joan at her best.
Burton Cummings is doing a 60th Anniversary tour next Fall. I just bought two VIP tickets, which were way too pricey. But, it's a once-in-a-liftetime show for me and my wife who love Burton. And it's...
Yes, I felt it was worth repeating. I don't consider DSotM perfect. But I do consider WYWH to be.
It really is one of the very, very few perfect albums, IMO.
^^ Bad link
Wow, that's quite a story, Jerol. Thanks for sharing it.
^^^ Some people just think the rules don't apply to them.
Sound familiar?
Indeed. The weather reporters are not helping. But they aren't the main problem, as we know.
It's more about the extremes and the undeniable patterns.
Zack Wheeler and the Phillies have agreed to a three-year, $126 million contract extension.
That's nuts.
So, should I clean out a bluebird house, or leave it up to them? I know sometimes earlier birds make their homes before the bluebirds get a chance. But, it seems like they never left this year.
Gaslight is on TCM right now. I'm just catching the end.
A Streetcar Named Desire is next
^^ I got one, too. I haven't set it up, yet.
I agree. And it's one of the very few perfect albums.
Boy, the new uniforms are creating quite a stir. And rightly so. They look terrible. Players are flipping out over the see-through pants among other things about them.
^^ :up
Which label? Can you share a photo? No biggie if it's too much of a hassle.
^^ Low expectations.
Is the "Introducing" legit? There are more counterfeits than real ones out there.
30 years ago, people had yet to embrace baldness. Back then, you might have been considering a cheap hairpiece. So there's that.
It's a perfectly fair comparison since they were costars on the movie you cited.
I costs about 5 cents to print a one dollar bill. The US Treasury wanted to switch to coins because they last longer.
She never did anything for me, especially with Ingrid Bergman in the same room.
such a great movie
The local park has an ice cream stand that takes no cash.
For an ice cream cone.
I get it. They want to protect the people working there from being robbed. But still...
He's been doing a lot of great work. I still need to spend some time diving into it.
He's also an excellent guitarist.
I think his dad would be proud as hell.
Don't roll over too quickly!
LOL!
I'm also surprised Alan Parsons hasn't made it in yet.
oops, sorry about that.
Just to be clear, my space rock comment was about the debut only. It's a bit of an outlier. It's total space rock.
Sounds Like this is the jammy album. Live in the studio. Very much like the...
Well, it's stripped down from the UK release. You stated it was the US release date. Whatever. no biggie
Check MLB.TV again, They just expanded the coverage and I think you have access to all games now. I just got an e-mail about it. I only subscribe to the audio.
Not sure where you get your facts, but it was released on January 20, 1964. Sometimes, Canadian releases were earlier than the US, but I don't think that was one of them.
HERE WE GO!
^^^ :horns
One song I would likely pay for him not to perform.
Yeah, whatever. It was a joke. I am pretty sure the baseline is 25 years, anyway. You didn't look that up?
I have no idea what that comment about Elton John means.
Supertramp is another band that I think should be in.
Let's get things in gear with last year's (2023) Fangraph Projections
:lol
Look at the bright side. Most of us will be long-gone when they nominate Taylor Swift.
GREAT album. Some of Hayward's tastiest playing.
^^ The British Invasion, led by the Fab Four, was instrumental in helping America heal from that tragic day in November of '63.
Give them less than three years and they'll pioneer it.

And the world was never the same.
Harold Lloyd. In fact, I'm considering played "Safety Last" when it's my turn for movie night. It's only 74 minutes so I need at least one short. I'm considering a lIttle Rascals one.
The later...
That was a very good show. Too bad one of the main characters turned out to be such a crackpot.
I'll leave it at that.
^^^^^ :drool
I have the Eclectic releases, but would love to hear these new box sets. Those Eclectic CDs are going for some good money, I believe. I love them.
^^ THIS!
^^^
This is me nearly 100%.
I would throw in the old Fleischer Popeye cartoons
I think it was about getting more out of the real estate value. That's prime commercial property being wasted in most cases.
That could very well be their most inaccessible album, IMO. It's space rock. I would advise not judging the catalog by that outlier.
I agree. And few albums were alike, too. But the lyrics of the new one don't hold up as well as the classic ones, IMO. It's still very good and they should all be proud of keeping the candle burning.
Such a classic!
Blake played Mickey in the later shorts and was the most nauseating of all of their characters over the years. Their shorts went into the 40s. But those MGM ones were the...
