There's nothing like the Solina if you're looking for some decent string sounds. Different from the Mellotron. Lots of other synths can do strings, but the Solina is just a go to for that for me.

I can't possibly learn all of the vst's I have now to the extent that I want to. Focusing on a handful and getting to know them better is about all I can handle
