Went to see Knower at the weekend here in the UK and despite a dodgy PA they were fabulous.
I feel elements of Bruford, Brand X and Zappa and they are really into Holdsworth and such like.

I wonder if I can get him to get me paid for writing one of the classical anchor themes for the Iraq coverage back in the day. It was on pretty much all year several times a day and then used for an...
I think the deal is that a pre-cruise show is allowed as part of the cruise itinerary ....just a shame we couldn't do 23 pre-cruise shows :-)
Here's something I put on the Marillion thread which I think sums it up ....'It seems to me a lot of difficult to define bands are put into the neo-prog category as if it's somewhere to put other...
It seems to me a lot of difficult to define bands are put into the neo-prog category as if it's somewhere to put other stuff for those who find it hard to live without a definition.
I remember when we first came up with the Lifesigns CD a group in Europe spent weeks trying to work out what we were. The debate seemed endless in the end they decided we were 'neo-prog' and we then...

I enjoyed the chat ... and thanks for listening :-) I think you are far from alone in the way you look at the oncoming rush. I agree that it's always better if someone else posts rather than the band...

I fear you are right that...
Mmm apathy ....wonderful thing in the right hands.... there is nothing new and there never will be (so I guess that means you've heard all the new stuff?)
