Have you noticed that Andy Latimer plays some bass on that album? This is because Sinclair didn't turn up at the studio. Surely this is the main issue Camel had with him.

I should have realised, one does have music from 'Mystic Queen' in it. The other one I didn't know about, but not keen anyway.

Why not Denis? Usually it's only Andy, but some years back Andy & Denis wrote some songs.

As calyx said, that's not the reason. Could be Covid related. Waiting for things to improve, or gig availability due to artists re-booking cancelled shows. A lot are going for 2022.

Peter Jones songs don't fit well with Camel for me. They played a couple early on in last tour, but got dropped from setlist.

Are you really glad that Andy continues playing "even if it causes him pain and discomfort"? As you said, " it's disappointing to say the least", I do wonder why? That sounded rather harsh to me......

Some of us got an email recently saying they were just getting a check disc, and if that was OK then it wouldn't be long. Why not write and ask them about it?

Maybe the "check disc" CP were sent had errors on it? This would certainly slow things down.

I think Andy L should release an album if / when he's ready. Like he said, it should be on his terms. So I'd go with that.

Camel released 'Coming of Age' on VHS, DVD and 2 CD set. The CD set is actually longer.

I can't see this being released on Sept. 20th, as CP are telling us that no-one will get their copies before CP send theirs out. That's supposed to be 4-6 weeks away.

It's not about age really, I don't think Jones has the feel for the songs. Technical doesn't bother me, it's all about the warmth.

I still prefer Andy and Colin to do the vocals. Sounds unlike ' Classic Camel ' to me. To each his / her own...

Not sure about a new album yet myself...The line-up's only been 2 years hasn't it? Not even toured UK yet.
