Martin Orford - The Old Road
Kitaro - An Enchanted Evening
I'm listening to Alpha for some reason - I can't really explain why, I just came across it in my collection. I had never actually listened to it before.
What I'd like to know is: what did they do...
I don't know who these guys are, but Spotify must, because it included this in an auto-playlist based on Clutching at Straws. Maybe it's not that cool, but I kind of like it:
...
Liquid Scarlet - Killer Couple Strikes Again (EP)
Leviathan - s/t (the US band, from 1974)
Listened to the album "What If..." by The Far Cry the other day. This band might have been mentioned here by someone. It's from early this year, and it's a very good neo album from a new band.
I could bind all of John’s KC box set reviews under one cover and make a big volume. A tome, if you will, and study it regularly. Yeah, that’s the ticket!
Soft Machine - Volume 2
Soft Machine - Volume 2
When I said "most people" I meant "most people," not just most Genesis fans.
Focus - Hamburger Concerto
Focus - At The Rainbow
The Far Cry - If Only...
^ The thought crossed my mind! But I wouldn't want to add anything to the box that might risk its triple-Mint condition!
Edited from a Moscow IP address no doubt! Thanks, Dave! I should print out a copy of each of these and put them in their respective boxes. That's a fun, little project.
What’s the best place to start with Wolf People and offshoots? The proggier the better, obviously!
John, I'm trying to find your review of this set on the AAJ site. The old link no longer works, and I can't find the review on the site. Any chance you can find it? If you have a chance to try. Thx!
King Crimson - Live in Japan. Dec. 16. 1981
:O That’s a crime that GUP is OOP!! Why didn’t you just buy a used copy though?
True, but I think the majority of people then, while they knew of Gabriel, didn’t know he had anything to do with Genesis.
I only have the two original CDs. Is this a compilation of the two that includes 5.1?
King Crimson - Red
Hey, he was fishing - that’s something. Sorry to hear that, Gary(head).
Glad this thread has sparked some interesting debate! What I’m wondering is why 20-year-old Dr Zaius didn’t buy this album when he was buying a stack of records every week. Probably because because...
Last night:
Eloy - Planets
Eloy - Planets
Except they sound as if you only had two ears.
Perhaps it’s the opposite.
Didn’t know there was a live Kaipa Da Capo. But my question was really directed at Splicer, though I didn’t make it clear. I want to know which ones he considers Comfort Prog. :)
^ Thanks!
I haven’t listened to Exposure in a coon’s age; listening now. In fact, the last time I listened to it I didn’t know who Peter Hammill was! Hammill sure goes for it on his vocal for “Chicago.” He...
Couldn't find any threads on this album. I didn't really expect to, but I wondered, as my son turned me on to the album, and it seems sort of borderline proggy in a similar way to some Talking Heads....
Now do you have a link to this for Bandcamp? I don't see it on Spotify.
I can't find it anymore. I must have been mistaken, going back and forth between YT and BC.
Digital_Man PM'd the clip to me. Very funny! Mentions like that always surprise me; someone like Gabriel seems so off the radar of all mainstream media, until he's mentioned as though he's a...
How expensive?
So what’s the first one where the band is led by Lundin?
Oh, you go to shows in Tarrytown? I’m like a 15-20 minute drive from there. We should definitely meet up.
Maybe this was mentioned, but is there an opening act, and will it still be Jonas on Bass?...
Just embedding the video here for you (looking forward to listening to the album!):

Just bought a ticket for Tarrytown! Should be a festive show to see at Christmastime...
Here’s a pic of them. I didn’t know they included these - I hadn’t unwrapped my copy yet. They’re OK, nothing too special. Which is good, really, because they’ll be fun to actually use, as opposed to...
Amon Duul II - Phallus Dei
The Flower Kings -Unfold the Future (Disk 2)
Sorry to hear about your father's health problems!
This happened to us when we arrived in Amsterdam once. Kind of a fun, sleep-deprived twilight state for exploring the city though, and good...
Yesterday:
The Flower Kings - Unfold the Future (Disk 1)
Jose Cid - 10,000 Annos Depois Venus y Marte
Renate, just wanted to let you know there’s a new acoustic, live Grobschnitt album that just turned up on Spotify today. It’s good!
What segment of the show?
PoS is one of the bands I had to completely miss on CTTE because there were other bands I wanted to see more urgently. I kind of regret it, but there are some tough choices to make there.
Map of the World I don't care for, though I usually don't skip it because it's innocuous. I like When I Meet God, but parts of it can plod.
I didn’t want to ask, but thanks for mentioning it.
Thanks for this, Meidad!
Did McStine & Minneman do any covers?
Last night I put on Kinections: The Progday Support Album, and it has a “previously unreleased” track by The Muffins!
Don’t know why there are so many who don’t like like it, but that’s Marillion fans for you! It’s about their jammiest album, I love it!
Mixed feelings, but some nice parts. CTTOI, I think I listened to the followup album too.
Sebastian Hardie - Four Moments
Fish - Yin
Kinections: The Progday Support CD (A previously unreleased Muffins track on this comp!)
What is he doing to that skull? :lol Is that the idea, or is my mind just in the gutter?
That's lower risk than the US, according to the article. It says the CDC had the US at level 3 on their color coded map, even if they haven't issued a travel advisory.
It would be interesting to know how many cases of covid among the CREW the ships get, for comparison.
On another cruise subject entirely, I always laugh at the TINY shower stalls in the interior...
Wow! So this box has everything that's in the three-box set? Does it include what was on the special bonus disk that came with that? Are the booklets the same? I have the three-box set so I don't...
Will check this out, thanks!
It was you who recommended it to me! Another important day in your life... :)
