Jon references a band he'd like to do Yes music with, anyone have any idea what the name of this band in New York that plays Yes music is?
I hope he keeps the present line up for more solo stuff, they compliment Jon well and I love the re-interpretation of some of the Yes songs.
Apparently The Band Geeks

I'd go see that!
Masterworks 1 was pretty good -- I was at this show! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF4i9HgsZbU&t=4667s
If he tours with Band Geeks to do classic Yes music, I'll travel to see it. Their CTTE video is phenomenal.
^ I don't remember bad sound at that gig, but I don't remember if I was in the pavilion or on the lawn.
I was in the pavilion, towards the back. My friend and I must've been in what audiophiles call a bass trap: it's a spot where the bass frequencies collect, and they literally overwhelm everything. This was especially pronounced whenever Chris Squire used the bass pedals. It totally obliterated all of the rest of the band.
I wonder if you were near where I was sitting, though I didnt experience that bass sound (actually Steve's guitar was super shrill at the beginning where I was), but I was at the back of the seated area right in the middle.
Masterworks II - The Return of Igor - has a nice ring to it!
Ha! It's really unfortunate that he had to alienate himself and become persona non grata with his gross and unacceptable antics. (Jon Anderson: "Igor doesn't burn bridges, he blows them up!") His playing and sounds were superb on this tour. There was a lot of promise with his being part of the band. Ah well...
I think I posted this link before.. I had only ever seen the pro shot from Homdel NJ.. this one is pretty nice as well.. Bonner Springs Kansas.. Pro shot..

Here's the money quote from Jon about this idea: "It’s funny, this came to me yesterday...”
He'll be onto the next big idea the day after.
Not that I'd possibly miss this show if it did happen.
Hopefully the graphics of this release will be made to match the big slipcase he sold.
