Anyone wager a guess why they would alter the mix for one of the versions? Is it so audiophiles here on PE can endlessley debate the qualties of each one? Or just to confuse us? It does seem peculiar to me that they would do this.

I guess the reason for this will be the difference in languages, the soft "singing" Romanic Italian and the hard "precise" Western Germanic English. It doesn't surprise me that they had to alter the mix for the English vocals to adjust to the music.
