My Dad always said the "lottery" was the poor man's tax . . . lol . . . but he always played himself and won a few $5000 prizes and many smaller ones too.

I will pick up a few tix just for the kids - they get excited and dream big - - -

My high-school English teacher won $32M back in the late 1970's - - - she opted for $88,000 per month for 20 years or something like that. She was smart and got an accountant and lawyer right away . . . so I have faith that it can work I guess - who knows. We were always "close" - she got me a new roof for my house, a wicked telescope and some other stuff too - - - she still lives on her small ranch on the Hudson river upstate . . . and we see here every time we visit my Mom up that way.

Don't feel bad. If you had been given every ticket sold in the states of Florida and NY (as well as quite a few others), you still would not have won the jackpot. That's why there is no point in playing.
