I agree, I could easily be satisfied with a list of ten from 67. I don't think I could even create a list of 20 that I actually own, truly like, and truly listen to.

David Bowie - s/t
Buffalo Springfield - Again
Cream - Disraeli Gears
Doors - Strange Days
JHE -Are You Experienced?
Love - Forever Changes
Moody Blues - Days of Future Passed
Pink Floyd - Piper At The Gates of Dawn
Procol Harum - s/t
Simon & Garfunkel - P, S, R & T

I don't think so. I see this particular year as absolutely extraordinary time, it was like breakthrough 'to the other side'. A cornerstone year for rock.
And the 20-names limit is not for naming many, on the contrary, it is for reducing some outstanding stuff to 20 names. That makes sense, not a long copy of 'many'.

Cool lists! I missed some well-known names. BTW, nobody mentioned Pretty Things album, Emotions. No likes for this one?

1. It's 1967! You'd have to make the list a lot longer than 20 before I ran out of things that I like.

2. In any event, I don't think I've heard this Pretty Things album (heard the ones before it, though).
