I knew we planned to close the boards over there, but this seems premature and odd to me. Not like I expected Duncan to handle it. Almost like someone else did in haste.... I am waiting to hear from Duncan myself.

Weird.

I have done nothing to PEv2 to cause this.

Interestingly, PE-Mobile (v2) is still working perfectly.

Will get onto it now...

Wow, the admins had nothing to do with it? Must of been the people who managed the server that hosted the old PE. Well, regardless it's time to focus on this site.

Just a quick note. The forums appear to be gone but a lot of the side bar links including PMs still work.

That said, we were due to close out new thread creation in the next few days anyway - in a more orderly fashion.

So we could either spend a lot of time fixing the problem, or just accelerate the move to PEv3...

Actually you can view threads on the regular main forum using the side bar search function if you know what you are looking for. Haven't tried posting though as am not sure if that would contribute to the problem.

I am sure the anti-change people are sniveling and grumbling right now because they think you guys did this on purpose and their life (with PE) has come to an end. You might as well today be the end of PEv.2.0 -- Viva La Change!

Regardless of conspiracy theories - this was a genuine BUG in PEv2. We could take many hours to fix it ... for the few days it would still be alive ... or just accelerate the move over here.

We'd planned to accelerate the move to PEv3 this week anyway, but we had a more ordered migration in mind.

This is the PEv2 mobile application called "PE-Mobile". It's been around for 3 or 4 years ... and it still works. You will still be able to view and post to all of your old threads.

We will block new threads and PMs in a week or so, but old threads and PMs will run for a while.

In addition to that - you can still get the following on PEv2:
