Just listened to Pychocandy ...
I'm surprised how retro it sounds for its time. Almost everything about it screams 1966 right down to the production — The VU meets fuzz tone garage rock.

Just picked up Honey's Dead. And sure enough, it's a good one. This may be my favorite of their's to date.

This was one of those bands that a small contingent of people at my high school were really into, along with Swans, Pixies, Joy Division, The Housemartins, etc.... to be honest, the only song I can recall from them was (I think) called "Rollercoaster"? I remember liking it at the time, it's been years since I've even thought about most of this stuff.
