What harm can it do? Are people here so immature that they'd get pissy because one thread got more stars than another? I did notice that some threads had stars but wasn't sure what that was. I think we're getting a little carried away now with such concerns.

In the tubes of the interweb, the answer to that question is always "yes".

But, let them get them get pissy. Maybe they'll eventually learn some coping skills.
