Kofi Burbridge of the Tedeschi Trucks Band and Derek Trucks Band died Friday Feb 15 of unannounced causes.

Very sad. I saw him with Trucks years ago. Very talented guy.

Sad news indeed. In my collection Burbridge plays on albums by Bon, Doyle Bramhall II and Jimmy Herring.

Yes, very sad. So talented. He inspired his younger brother Oteil to practice hard and pursue a music career. Kofi was a trained, very talented musician. He had perfect pitch as well. People that met him say he was the nicest guy.

NO F**KING WAY!! This is very sad. Loved Kofi's work on both keyboards and flute in the second iteration of Aquarium Rescue Unit. Great player, and by all accounts a super-nice guy, too. RIP to somebody taken WAY too soon...
