don't see this mentioned.
i've seen this a couple times now where after uploading photos as attachments, saving the post (where it then shows up in the message list) then clicking on one of the thumbnails, the image will appear by itself in a separate window instead of in a popup as it usually does. also if you click the Back button from the image window, it brings you back to the edit page for that post as if you were trying to edit it when i would think it would bring you back to the message list as it was before you clicked the thumbnail. i do use Chrome exclusively so maybe it has something to do with that but figured i should report it anyway.

I've never seen the first problem.
regarding the second point - don't hit the back button when you're done looking at the picture. Hit escape instead.
I'll see if I can investigate further...

I'll see if I can investigate further...it only happens the first time you click a thumbnail after saving the post.

Yes, that makes sense.
Hit escape instead of the back button...

Yes, that makes sense.
Hit escape instead of the back button...we might not be talking about the same thing. the main thing is on first click after saving, the image does not come up in the popup that has the Next, Last and Close buttons as it should but instead comes up by itself in a full page like the one we're on. that's why i tried the Back button because it came up in a page that was part of the site not in the popup. i can see the Esc working for the popup but the popup doesn't appear. every click after the first does display the popup however. again, this could be a Chrome only issue.

Okay:
There's a slight bug, but it's minor.
Complete your post, and view the picture with ONE click so the pic is displayed in a pop-up window - and it works okay. (And pressing escape to go back works fine.)
Give the pic a second click, to see it bigger, and things get a bit funky.
Come back to the post later, and it works fine.
If your experience is different - chalk it up to Chrome. I've tried it in IE and Firefox, and will need to re-install Chrome, Safari and opera to test it thoroughly - which I'll do if I get the time...

btw, my post above wasn't for testing, it was to show the results of the test (ie: the picture comes up in a browser window not a popup)

looks like the bug is fixed - as far as Chrome is concerned anyway.

Try installing Firefox and see if the problem continues.
If the problem goes away, dump Chrome.
I think powerful anti-virus and anti-spyware software will help.
