If you live in Chicago? Fuck that! I don't live anywhere near Chi-town, but it's a Saturday, it's great bands, it's great people....it's a no brainer. Now if I can somehow convince my wife that she doesn't need to go to Chicago again.....

What is the sound like at this venue?

What is the sound like at this venue?

That is so subjective. We'll see you in 8 months and you can form your own opinion. The theater was built in 1929.

I thought the sound was great last year. The theater reminds me a lot of the theater where ROSfest is held. Similar in size and acoustics.

Wow, is Hackett really only playing this and two other US dates? The other two dates are all that's listed on his site currently for the US.

I imagine some more dates will follow. I'd go to the Keswcik in Philly if I have to, but I'm really hoping for a NYC or NJ show.

This is awesome news! I was so devastated to miss the first Prog Night back in October, but my mother's passing and my escape from Alaska sort of took up my time and money. If there's any chance of my going to THIS year's event, I will try to get to Chi-town this time!

EDIT: I have added this event to the Prog Fest Calendar!

I bought tickets to this show this morning, but just went back to the site for additional info, and it's now missing from the main page and the ticket page. What's the deal, anyone know?

Hi Gerard, sorry for the problem you encountered. We had to put a hold on the show for right now due to things Steve Hackett's management is working out. It will be back up on the site soon. Again, sorry for the problem!

sorry for the problem you encountered.

No problem at all, I'm just glad to hear the show will go on. As soon as it's back on the venue's site, I'll forward the link to friends and family in the area, to hopefully get a few more seats filled.
