Is there a 'report to moderator' function within a thread or post?

I ask because a usual suspect has been doing so lately and it clutters the discussion… especially when this person is not involved with the discussion and only involves himself with attempts at humor. When that humor goes a step further and is crude, well, that is why I am asking about this.

As I have stated before, I'm all for jovial banter and fun here and there… in moderation. But, when a thread is going and PE users are actively discussing something, then we get these disruptions, it brings down the thread.

Two threads that I have started have involved this. I have the person on ignore, but the fact remains that others see the problem, also.

2nd meaningless post within that Big Brother thread by him, and he doesn't even watch (or care) about the series:

=======

I got the term here, due to more of the same:

There are countless examples that I could list, but these are just the few that have been happening lately.

Well, after posting this I did notice the triangle with exclamation point on the bottom left corner of posts. Ok, problem solved. Delete thread if needed.

Didn't you think for an instant that Vesuvius would erupt eventually, JL?

And yes, lame & totally unnecessary humor aside, I do actually like you:).

…unless that member resorts to a personal attack, of course.

I shrug it off as one must consider the source. However, that type of behavior should not be tolerated.

Well, yes... that looks escalating and totally unnecessary ...

I dont get it - PE to me is about information and opinions about music etc.
Its not science and its not religion, still somehow some gets completely carried away.

Welcome to the club Gruno. I got put on ignore by a total tool recently and I found the experience quite liberating.
