Damn. That was mouth watering. I love Penfold's wine although I doubt the bottles I buy are quite as classy as the ones Alex picks up.

All I know about wines are that some are red or white. Other than that, I know *nothing* about wines, their dates & whatnot. It was just cool to see his cellar & the quick glimpse of an old photo of himself by the entrance.

actually i was more impressed with the wine cellar it self. it used to be a sauna and he converted it and left all the wood finish. it wasn't really fancy, but it did the job.

Al Stewart is no slouch in this regard either.

Wow, that made me feel better about my bald spot - I ain't got nothing on Alex in that department!

Aquavit sounds like the stuff you can get in Iceland, I forget the name. Tastes like liquid rye bread.

That was way cool!
It's great to get a glimpse of the everyday life of your heroes!

Lots of bottles from many eras. It looks like time stands still in his wine cellar. I guess it's time to draw another goblet from the cask of 43.

That's cool. I only recently have begun to really appreciate wine. I still like the occasional beer but I've expanded my palette a bit.
