Don't forget to fry the cheese to that crisp smokey bacon taste.

You'd be surprised. Even Hellmann's has a low fat version and you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference in the taste. We all know this shit ain't good for you, but if you gotta have it, then why not take the healthier choice, if there is one.

Trust me, when I saw the Reduced Fat thing I was tempted to Photoshop that mention out! But, it does taste good!

(Their regular Olive Oil Mayo is good too)

I've been loving the olive oil mayo for a couple of years now. It's reduced fat, but it's great (don't let it fool you, it still has a shitload of calories from fat). Gonna have to look for that pepperd version as I haven't seen it before.

I tend to prefer a good ol' club sandwich to a BLT

Yeah, if memory serves Hellman mayo was as good as you can get in North Am in the 80's... But the only "fantasy" I like with my mayo is some mustard... which is part of the homemade French recipe
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

Love it - as long as the bread isn't toasted. I hate eating sandwiches with toasted bread. Scrapes up the roof of my mouth right behind the front teeth.

No Mayo. Not on a BLT, not on anything. Mayo is yucky and evil.

And that is why Miracle Whip was invented.

Woargh!!!! I could go for a BLT right now, it being lunchtime. But I will instead have to settle for hearty turkey soup with a slice of brown bread and butter. Which is not so bad.

I love Mayo. Ya ya, I know about tradition regarding burgers and dawgs. You don't put Mayo on hot dogs. In my world I'm allowed to put mayo on my hotdogs, because I said I can. If that bothers people, too fucking bad .

Now, before we all start getting all lecture-y and start feeling bad about how bad bacon and mayo are for us. Look, if you have one, small BLT sandwich everyday for lunch, and you don't overeat for the rest of the day, you'll be okay. Everytime we talk about food here at PE it's always the same thing. People get on their highhorses about "reduced fat" and "gluton" and "veganism" and blah blah. Ya wanna lose weight? Eat less, excersize more. Enjoy your slice of pizza. Enjoy a hotdog (with Mayo ) once in a while. Just don't overeat. It's that simple.

Using toast makes it a toastie not a sandwich, if we're going by strict definitions. Using a baguette makes it a baguette or a sub as you colonials call it.

Don't they eat french fries with mayo in Canada ??
I lived with some hosers at one time. It's not true that they put beer on their cereal in the mornings.

It's only a grinder if it's been put in the oven.
