    ATMOSFERE
by Orchestra Ollamar / Rino de Filippi
One of the darkest and in high-demand Italian Library. From the infamous Fonit 7001 series here's the most obscure and deepest Rino de Filippi's creation composed along with maestro Giancarlo Chiaramello, very elusive LP. Obstinated Dark Breakbeats like in the killer "OSTINAZIONE" with Fuzz Psychedelic guitar and amazing drumming tempo. More dark samples on "PULSAZIONI". Spookiest guitar and basslines ever and scary atmospherics with screaming sophisticated vocals too. Insane record!

Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

WOW! I never thought I'd see the day, this is awesome! I actually like this one better than their debut. Do you know who's doing it?

Elemental Music (in-akustik) as far as I know, other source says RCA Victor (maybe those are related)

    P.S. I checked it's In-Akustik (a legit German Lable)

I didn't even realize INAK were still around! That's cool, as I have a few things from the label, mostly from the early 90s. I just bought the Manfred Wieczorke - Transfer CD that came out in 1987 from their label (only press). Decent progressive electronic music from the former Eloy / Jane keyboardist. Not essential but worth keeping.

If I was smart, I'd sell my Iberia CD on Nuevos Medios (the original legit press) for a profit, and then buy the new one. But it would be just my luck they'll back out, or screw up the mastering... so I better not...

Digging this. Some nice genre crossovers and mix of styles going on here. Not entirely sold on the weird vocals yet, but want to hear more.

out now...really liking this band from Cologne, Germany

    moral machine records

CPGJ dive deep down into the sonic realm of heavy, noisey guitars, steel mill feedbacks, sludgy stoner riffs and spaced out electronic sounds. The bandleader’s guitar work on the album is best described by two past heroes:

    Cobain vs. Coltrane.

In addition, the psychoactive stereo drumming combined with tricky bass riffslifts you off the ground in one moment before pulling you down at double gravity when you least expect it.

    "Glenn Phillips at The Rainbow"
    Album Release Celebration!
    Friday, November 4
8pm / No Opening Act / Doors Open at 7pm
    Red Clay Music Foundry
    in Duluth GA (Atlanta Area)

Celebrating the album release of Glenn's 1977 Rainbow Theatre concert in London exactly 39 years after it was recorded. The band will be performing rarely played songs from the Rainbow show (from Lost at Sea, Swim in the Wind, and more). The show will reunite keyboardist Dana Nelson with Glenn and bassist Bill Rea -- they recorded 1980's Dark Lights together, and they'll also perform that album with drummer John Bossierre and Jeff Calder of the Swimming Pool Q's.

From Rolling Stone's Dark Lights review: "If rock 'n' roll guitarists were Kamikaze Pilots, Glenn Phillips would be in heaven right now . . ."

A limited number of signed and numbered albums will be available for sale at the concert,
or you can pre-order the album from UK label Shagrat Records:

Not sure what the forum's stance is on forumites promoting their indie endeavors with dedicated threads, but for now I'd like to at least post this here. I just posted a new album of groovy/ambient/electronic/guitar loop stuff on bandcamp this week. I'm really happy with how this whole thing hangs together.

    https://casuallyabandoned.bandcamp.c...be-its-nothing

This track kind of hits all the beats, ambient ramblings into aggressive/angry groove with looped guitar strangulations...

And this puppy offers a goofy Mobyesque groove into a guitar soundscape that I love.

Please stop by here to hear the whole thing: https://casuallyabandoned.bandcamp.c...be-its-nothing

Feel free to hate, or to politely decline to listen. Or enjoy. Enjoying is also an option.

(As is buying. I can't recommend buying this album strongly enough)

    Thanks for your time.
