I want a triple eviction one year. I suspect they don't have the room to make and set up props and such though for all that entails.

For those who might have missed it, the nights are changing to Sunday/Tuesday/Wednedsay for the rest of the season.
I think it shows how boring the house must be right now, that they spent half the show last night on a Jeff and Jordan tribute.
If those boys let Victoria get to the final four I'm gonna be pissed! If she wins her way to the final four via the Veto, I'm gonna be shocked!
Wouldn't it be fun if she came out and won the final HOH challenge by showing that her dumb act was an act all along? And that her entire strategy was to be as useless as possible so that she wouldn't be a threat? LOL! It wouldn't happen. We would know by know through the diary room if that were the case. But it would be funny as hell.
I wasn't posting much in this thread because I felt like I was talking to myself, but screw it. I'm going to talk and if someone wants to respond feel free. If not, well that's okay too.
My brother is big BB fan too and we were talking about this season last night. He made an interesting point. He thinks that the show went with a "safe" (read boring) cast this season because of all the controvery of last season. Rather than have another season of conflict, racism, and controversy, they chose to pick a cast with more similar characteristics to each other that would not conflict and create such huge drama in order to preserve the reputation of the show.
I don't know if that's true or not, but it's an interesting theory.
Talk and keep talking!!!
Unfortunately, I have been very busy this BB season. I've not once opened up the live feeds. That should tell ya how much I've been doing
This season is at least better than last, but that's not saying much.
So final three and Victoria is still there. Who would have predicted that one early on???
What are your predictions? I think that Derek has already won it. But the big question is...if Cody wins HOH, will he keep his word and take Derek or will he toss Derek to the curb as easily as he got rid of Caleb because he knows he can beat Victoria?
If Derek is in final two, he's a shoe-in.
Finale night! I have school tonight, but I've already warned my husband that I'm taking over the TV when I get home so that I can see who wins tonight and I don't learn who it is on the internet, by accident, tomorrow.
Tonight Derek wins BB '14! -- I hope
It has been a dreary season. Better than last year, but not by much. I wasn't too bothered by the bad season since I was busy with other projects. Big mistake is having After Dark appear on TVGN. I still say they should put at least 3 house guests who are in their 40s & 50s. It worked before, I thought.
I like this outcome very much. A masterful game in a bleh season.
I look forward to next year!

Definitely!! Gives me hope for next season. Having said that, can't wait until BB Canada season 3 around Feb/March!
The right outcome. Although, in spite of their strong alliance, I'm a bit surprised that Cody took Derrick to the end. It cost him the game and I think that he knew that was going to be the case when he did it. I'd love to hear his reasoning for not taking Victoria to final two for the win.
I didn't understand the "fake praying" that Jacosta was so twisted in a knot about.
For a shitty season, at least the right person won. And if I never have to hear Victoria's whiny voice again, I'll be happy. The worst part about her making it to the end was having more DR time. Everything that came out of her mouth sounded liiiiiiike aaaaaaaaaaaaa whiiiiiiiiiiiiine. It took her 20 seconds to say four syllables. Most. Annoying. Player. Ever.
Has the Survivor thread started yet?
Never mind. I found the Survivor thread and subscribed.
I have a feeling that Cody really thought he played a better game than Derrick.
Any thoughts on Donny voting for Cody? Was it due to Donny feeling betrayed by Derrick in Team America? I would like to know Donny's reasoning behind that vote. Also, interesting that Christine voted for Derrick. I wonder how her and her hubby were last night/this morning...
Derrick sat and prayed with her on one occasion that they showed on the CBS show. Didn't he even say something in the DR about that? I know Jocasta was in jury so she wouldn't have seen that, but she definitely has the imaginary chip on her shoulder with religion and other things. Notice her answer that she can't go below 90%
I really hope she doesn't have a breakdown watching the show this week. Everyone in the house, including CBS (Chenbot, Jeff) made countless remarks about her not being a good player. Hey, she can always throw it in their faces that she lasted longer than most of them. Plus, didn't she win $5,000?
Would it be a snoozefest or a great game to have a house full of all the floaters and people who were evicted 1st from different seasons?
Maybe. He did seem truly shocked by the puppet comment and I thought his response to that was pretty good.
I think that Derrick and Donny had a bond outside of Team America. Weren't they Double D? (Its' so hard to keep track and remember all of this). I suspect that Donny felt betrayed when he found out that Derrick had been lying to him the entire time and that he had an alliance with the other guys and a final two agreement with Cody.Any thoughts on Donny voting for Cody? That didn't surprise me. Christine is a huge fan of the game and voted for who she thought played the best game. She said so during the group jury meeting with Dr. Will, and again when she placed her vote. I'd be surprised if she was still married a year from now. Also, interesting that Christine voted for Derrick. I wonder how her and her hubby were last night/this morning...
She really is the most clueless player ever. "Yay, I'm the last girl standing because I'm such a great player!" Good lord, what were the producers thinking? I'd like to see her audition videos.I really hope she doesn't have a breakdown watching the show this week. A very interesting question. The Anti-Allstars game. LOL! There were probably some good players voted out early, so it could be fun to watch them actually get the chance to play the game. Plus, how bad could it get? It couldn't be more of a snooze fest than this season.Would it be a snoozefest or a great game to have a house full of all the floaters and people who were evicted 1st from different seasons?
RE: Jocasta...the only thing I could think of is that if she felt Derrick was lying to her he was lying to her in every aspect of the game...playing up some religious angle to get Jocasta on his side. But yeah...that was some kooky shit she was spewing there. (Par for the course)
And RE: Victoria: Oh god do I agree! I don't know if it was just more facetime or what but her voice and mannerisms just seemed to get more annoying as the season progressed. Couldn't stand hearing her talk, even when she wasn't patting herself in he back like a fool.

I think Codys main faux pas in the questions was not emphasizing his competition victories. That was certainly derricks weakest point and someone in the jury may have been susceptible to a line like that. Though I don't think it would have made too much of a difference in the outcome.
RE: The anti-allstar idea...I kinda like it, but on the other hand most of the time I didn't care for the person who went out first so I don't know how much I would enjoy watching all those people. But...it would be an interesting experiment. And I think a worthy one for returning housegusts.

Cody also chest-thumped himself too, too hard when he answered Frankie's question. If you noticed, Frankie and a few others (including Derrick) sort of had an 'eek' expression and some were shaking their heads. You can't rub the jury the wrong way seconds before you want them to vote for you. I don't think that was a deciding factor, but it sure didn't help Cody if anyone was on the fence about who to vote for.
^ Agreed. I doubt a really good speech would of helped matters much, but he didn't do himself any favors with the one he gave.

I'm sad today. I don't have BB to look forward to tonight.
I think I need help....
I'm here for you. Hey, there's BB Canada Season 3 in a few months! Once the holidays start getting closer and then finish, we will be just weeks away! Stay strong!
LOL! Thanks Gruno. I knew I could count on you.
