These guys are clearly just playing what they want, and not specifically trying to sound like anything else.

Another fan here. I have all their albums. "Mother Orvis" is my favorite but they are all good.

so... for the noob, how many albums do they have?
    and
    which one to start with?
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

    They have four albums:

The future Kings of England 2005
The fate of old mother Orvis 2007
    The viewing point 2009
Who is this who is coming? 2011

My proposal is to start from the somewhat post rockish and Floyd influenced debut and work your way forward in order to understand how they progressively built their unique sound. All their releases are rewarding and recommended.

Just a quick one... Our debut album from 2005 is reissued today... It has been long out of print, so we decided to remix and remaster (with updated artwork). You can purchase it here through Burning Shed...https://www.burningshed.com/store/pr...oduct/99/5715/

    Cheers!
