OK, remember that I'm a twisted individual:

    1) The type of music The Spinners would make if they were condoms
    2) A copy of a fish's face covering
    3) Homes made from Swiss cheese
    4) Fear the absence of light
    5) Plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets on the rails
    6) Used for welding frozen precipitate
    7) Minimal compliance would be a non-verbal greeting
    8) Scottish musicians at the entrance to the morning
    9) To break all agreements into tiny little fragments
    10) To deprive the developing flower of important gasses.

1- Rubber Soul (I'm going to hold off and let other people play the rest, but your clues are much more literal than Bob's!)

Damn, I knew 2) but someone got in first.

    (3) must be Houses of the Hol(e)y!

    I'm pretty sure I know (5) too.

I'm about to head to bed, so before I go, a couple of not-too-confident guesses:

    (4) Talking Heads - Remain In Light
    (6) Faces - A Nod's As good As a Wink

    (5) is too easy.

I would try 4 - Beware Of Darkness by Spock's Beard, but both titles work.

    I think you meant #7?
But it would be 7 - The Least We Can Do Is Wave To Each Other by VDGG

Then let's both say 5 - Dylan's Blood On The Tracks and get it over with.

Yes I did mean (7) for the Faces one, but the VDGG fits better. As for "Beware of Darkness", that phrases came to me, but I thought "No, that's a George Harrison song", being unaware of the album by the pointy-eared one's facial fungus.

That leaves #9 (Hint: a fairly recent recording from a fairly recent Rosfest band).

Here's a list of just one word clues for album titles, which is cryptic in its own way I suppose. All genres, not just proggy:

    1, waterway
    2, Aztec
    3, cat
    4, hallucination
    5, pistol
    6, plus
    7, creatures
    8, cephalopod
    9, attendance
    10, mean
    11, military
    12, cord

This is getting confusing. I think we should start a new thread for each new set of albums.

    (1) Porcupine tree - Signify
    (5) The Beatles - Revolver

I'll sit back now and give others a go.

    (4) Jethro Tull - Stand Up
    (6) Led Zeppelin - Coda?
    (5) is pretty obvious.

Who the heck is Ann Coulter?

    (7) Too bad Losing My Religion is a song not an album, because that would fit.

Revolver is correct? And I think you mean No. 10 for Signify
