    David Lee Roth Unplugged

I'm not a guitar player but it seems to me that Dave can play the guitar?

He played an acoustic when I saw them do "Ice Cream Man" many, many years ago. I never knew if it was real playing or mimicking.

That's a good start, unplug his mic & his guitar and maybe we won't have to listen to him

Why would you be listening in the first place if you don't like to listen to him?

I've always wondered if that was Dave on guitar in Ice Cream Man
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

I'd be surprised if it was him on the studio recording.

I was always under the impression that it was.

isn't he credited with acoustic guitar on their first Lp (their only worthy, IMHO)

I'm think he's also playing it on Whisky Home and Could This Be Magic on their third album and even a couple of stuff on Diver Down.

I honestly don't know and am too lazy to check my vinyl copy.

I prefer the new take on Ice Cream Man from the last album. Lyrics are hilarious.

Gruno, that photo of Eddie. Was that taken in Houston, Tx, back in the 80's. When I saw the band at that time I was able to take some photos. He was wearing the exact same outfit. Saw them in the Summit.
The older I get, the better I was.

I don't know where the photo originates from. Eddie wore that outfit quite a bit on that tour.

I liked that better than most VH. He looked like he was having fun, making up lyrics as he played.
