By the way Crystal Plumage: There will be a new live album by the new line-up of Museo Rosenbach in early december.
(and a live DVD by Il Tempio delle Clessidre playing the whole Museo album with Galifi)

Still can't get excited about Dreaem Theater, but seeing the name indirectly reminded me that Fates Warning is also supposed to have something in the pipeline. (They originally said they were shooting for sometime this year, so judging from past experience, that probably means autumn 2014.)

Somewhat, yes, but I think this album and the one before show them arriving in their own right. Like KTU. They're not a 'side projekct,' they're a band.

Just received this bit of news via e-mail; guess there's something new to look forward to in '13. (In addition to so many tasty things already mentioned here!)

    Dave Stewart & Barbara Gaskin
    News December 2012

    Winter's Greetings

As it's been a while since our last newsletter, we wanted to send you all our 'compliments of the season' (as the dustmen used to say) and assure you that we're still here and making music. We hope to release a new Stewart / Gaskin album in 2013: ten tracks are currently on the assembly line, mainly Dave Stewart originals.

Maybe we'll get to see the long-delayed Birds and Buildings album?

Here's a very promising debut coming in 2013:

The great Luxembourg fusion guitarist Claude Pauly will have a new album in 2013. Mind Meets Matter was excellent.
The new Renaissance album is due as well. That will be bittersweet.
