Pretty much agree, but how is it hearsay if a member of the band in question gives me that information, unless you think I'm not telling the truth???

I never thought for a moment you were not telling the truth, but I would rather hear it direct from the band member and then confirmed from Nardelli himself. Otherwise we are only hearing one side second hand, that's what I mean by hearsay.

Since you're new (or pretending to be new) let's put it this way: at this point, I would trust anything from Geeze Steve before I would trust Syn Steve to give me directions to the restroom.
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Also, Ephemeral Sun: it's a thing and we like making things that might be your thing: https://ephemeralsun.bandcamp.com

I'm not pretending to be anything, but you are not being objective because unless you know both Steves, you are being biased. I'm not looking for an argument by the way, nor I am not challenging what Progeezer claims in the slightest, I have no doubt he is accurately communicating what he was told, I just wonder why other than as a veiled criticism of Nardelli.

In the words of that great sage M. Loaf, "you took the words right out of my mouth", JB.

There is an old thread on this subject, which started after it was announced that the next version of the Syn would be a collaboration between Nardelli and Moon Safari. Many PE members posted "warning" messages to Tobias Lundgren about the unreliability (to put it mildly) of Nardelli, but Tobias himself wrote back and assured everyone that there would be absolutely no way that Moon Safari would lose money from this venture, as all financial details were settled in advance. I don't have the time to search for this old thread, it probably was in the old version of PE, but I am 100% sure about Lundgren's words.

I've not seen a bad word from Moon Safari about working with Nardelli and Jonas Reingold is producing the album so it seems to be going fine. I'm looking forward to it whenever it gets released.

So, given his past behaviour, I've been presuming both "tally" and "taragon" are Steve Nardelli. My apologies to tally and taragon if they are real people.

Anyway, Steve sent me a copy of the new album to review. I'll write a proper review in due course, but it's a great performance. It brings alive the Big Sky material, with great performances from Brislin, Dunnery and Kull in particular.

Taragon is not Nardelli, so wrong on that one Bondegezou if you were being serious. I agree with you on the album but Nardelli is the star performer for me on an album of great performances.

Ditto Tally! I'm sure Steve Nardelli is very well capable of speaking for himself without hiding behind anybody which is what Bondegezou is insinuating.

This Thread is so entertaining, I feel guilty for consuming it free of charge.
Do I need to send a payment to someone?

I'm glad someone raised this, Nardelli was infamous for using fake SN's at Yesfans and related sites to promote his stuff, even floating the idea that Chris Squire wanted him to be the new Yes singer.

Once he was outed he apologized by stating this was standard business practice to boost excitement for product, but yeah, it's just pretty creepy in this context. Hes still tried it a couple of times after that.

It may have been standard business practice. Perhaps it still is. It is, however, now illegal in the UK with up to two years in prison and unlimited fines for breaches to falsely represent oneself as a consumer in such a manner.

So what is my crime, pretending to be Steve Nardelli? Why does he attract so many morons? of course - he's talented.

    Wait, what?
I am pleased that in England, it is now illegal to falsely represent oneself on line. I speak broadly and with no relationship to anyone in particular.

Now, if you put taragon into an apple pie instead of nutmeg, cinnamon and mace, perhaps I might accuse you of a culinary crime. You don't do THAT, do you?

Not if your only defense is false accusation and blatant rudeness because you don't agree with someone's opinion.

Ladies and gentleman, let me introduce you to the real Steve Nardelli, me, and I apologise to anyone that is accused of being me on the basis of their daring to like Syndestructible.

I am currently in Vienna finishing Trustworks, The Syn/Moon Safari collaboration being produced by Jonas Reingold. The Syn Live Rosfest has just been released as a prelude to Trustworks that is scheduled for later this year.

On a very serious note, let's light a candle of hope for the speedy recovery of my friend Chris Squire.

    Many thanks,

    Steve Nardelli
