    I believe he was referring to Syd.

    I also believe that the line, "silver spoon on a chain" was a swipe at Rick Wright.

    Yeah, it's mentioned in one of the Floyd books that's the case. I think it's been said the character of Pink is a composite of a bunch of different people Roger knew over the years, as well as as himself, of course.

    Speaking of "obligatory perms", I read once that the ridiculous hairdo that Adam Clayton had in the early years of U2 (you can see it in the Gloria video, for instance) was a homage to Phil Lynott.
