It'll be H-U-M-I-D more than H-O-T. Good luck. Personally, I love it. No kidding. I like humidity and sun. I can do without the beach. Love the ocean but can't stand sand, or ridin' boats.

FWIW, I booked a vacation for July in Orlando (three days at Universal) and Clearwater (four days), based partly on the comments I received here. Yes, I know, it's the rainy season and it will be HOT. But, with everything comes some risk.

We are in Florida right now on vacation and spent Sunday visiting friends on Treasure Island which is just down the beach from Clearwater. Awsome wide beach and tons of restaruants and bars. Good times.
