    Sad news, but he seems thoughtful and experienced enough to deal with it gracefully. And he may have plenty of music left in him

    Me too (my grandmother had Alzheimer's). Godfrey could, in the middle of a concert now, suddenly wonder what the hell he's doing. Of course that could just be because he *is* The Enid.

    I don't know what exactly spurred this particular report on this regional BBC site, probably the recent live performance of The Enid @ Tring, but for the Enid followers / The Enidi this wasn't really new news as he had already mentioned it in The Enid's e-mail newsletter a few months ago. And as far as I know RJ Godfrey will be playing live with The Enid for as long as he can, which hopefully is still a long time.
