Love me some lesser-known heavy stuff. Post your favs here!
This first one is a killer from Australia. Final song "Shylock" is just SO driving and addictive! Whole album is fantastic though.

Interviewer of reprobate ne'er-do-well musicians of the long-haired rock n' roll persuasion at: www.velvetthunder.co.uk and former scribe at Classic Rock Society. Only vaguely aware of anything other than music.

Is this obscure? I've been here so long, I can't tell anymore.

From what I gather there aren't that many really heavy albums(or songs)from the sixties but I know there are some.
Do not suffer through the game of chance that plays....always doors to lock away your dreams (To Be Over)
Obscure and oh so awesome...
Still alive and well...
That 'Weed' cover is another contender for worst of all time. Yuck! Ken Hensley did another album prior to Uriah Heep worthy of mention here (and another awful cover), Toe Fat's eponymous debut. Lee Kerslake was in that band too, I think.
The one album that always gets mentioned in these discussions is Leafhound's 'Growers Of Mushroom'. I think that was recorded before Pete French joined Atomic Rooster but released later...quite a heavy record for the time, in that case.
