    Happy 14th Birthday, PE!

Just a quick note. Back in October 1999 this whole train started rollin’. It’s been quite an adventure and I am amazed and proud to see us still kicking all these years later.

What are some of the musical highlights of the last 14 years here at PE?

Thanks again for believing in what we do for all these years. Sometimes it seems like it’s all cyclical, yet as it cycles back around some new things are in the mix too, thankfully.

Me joining in 2004 certainly has to be in the top 10.

Thanks for supplying this community. I've learned a lot and even enjoyed it a little.

    Congratulations guys. A well-deserved anniversary.

I had to go to the old site to check but I registered (after lurking for months) in Feb, 2005. Damn, that's a long time. I feel old. I mean Geezer old.

It's an effort to be such an icon, but I'm still up for it!

Happy Birthday, PE and it's lovable cast of irrascible moderators/developers!

    > What are some of the musical highlights of the last 14 years here at PE?

Hissy fits from Billy Sherwood and Geoff Downes have to be among the highlights.

14 years old... I guess PE is starting to grow some boobs now. Wearing make-up, looking at boys...Where are all the One Direction posters?

Been here for over 10 of those 14 years, so yeah, it's surprising this place still exists!

May I NOT be here when the site turns 28! I mean... at some point I'll get a life , I reckon....

Unless of course PE is a fourteen year old boy in which case it's locked in the bedroom, playing strange music, and masturbating furiously

Highlights? I guess just list and Top 10 discussions of favorite bands and such revealing new music to discover.

Also aside from the music it's the community, ah gosh. But it's one of my go to places where like minded music fans exist.

I do remember one post from someone on the old version PE: 2 board who posted that people who listen to RIO prog did so because they were just trying to "be cool and hip to others." I also remember he got a few different replies on that one.
