I have seen them quite a few times and they are always excellent ( a few of them live not too far from Ottawa), especially the release of Dalmak when they had the Turkish musicians along with them. However this time they were a no-show, so it was just Nive (neevee) and they was also excellent, kinda like a folk/post-rock Nordic version of Calexico. Would have been very cool to see them together.. ah well

I'm going to see Alan Parsons this Thursday.

anybody in Germany aware of prog concerts happening between January and early March? I'm from Brazil but I'll be studying in Berlin during Winter, and it'd be damn nice if I could catch a couple of good concerts while I'm there

I have McCartney Tickets with the wife - VIP tickets for June in Arlington. I never dreamed I would ever see one of the Beatles perform. Wow.

I saw Paul in Ottawa, Ontario in around 2013. It was among the best live concerts I ever witnessed. I saw it in my box sets at the Canadian Tire Place stadium.

Thanks for this... Some shows on here I was not aware of...

In 24 days I'll be on the Good Ship Prog-A-Lot (aka CTTE). This little trip is expensive but when most of the groups have been in rotation for the past 45 years, it's so well worth the cost.

Also scheduled in 2019 is TMB, Red Green!, Marillion Weekend Montreal, ProgtoberFest, and perhaps ProgDay.

Gotta prog in to prog out...

Procol Harum next Thursday in Chicago (for the 1st time!) and Progday Labor Day Weekend if health & my long-distance ride don't change. My days of running around like a whirling dervish to "put another notch in my old man case" (paraphrasing Pat Benatar) are over.

I saw Procol Harum in Toronto about 10 years ago. The were backing up Jethro Tull. What a fucking contrast between Gary and Ian. One who couldn't sing if his life depended on it and the other crystal clear. PC were just splendid.
