Can't afford anything on the radar until I find a new job, but I'm hoping I can scrape up some $$$ to see Justin Hayward in Sacramento in June.

La Tulipe (where presumably you are seeing the Residents) is where we saw the Neal Morse Band and IQ last year. Cool club, apparently one of Montreal's oldest theaters. No Lino sightings at either NM/IQ. (Not sure if Lino remembers my wife Karen and I via Nearfests, FMPM).

Peter Hammill in Montreal and Quebec in early June, then Fairport Convention's Cropredy Festival in mid-August.

Black Mountain on July 21st is the only thing on the horizon except for a road trip to Sherbrooke QC to see TMB on April 16. I live in a city that has a thriving live music scene but I don't make it to too many gigs. I can't do the weekday gigs where the show ends at midnight because I am up at 5:00AM for work, and usually the venues are at least an hour from my house. Weekend gigs seem a rare occurrence foe the bands I'd like to see.

Can anyone recommend any concerts this year in the Republic of Ireland as I've just got back from a stint travelling and am keen to get back into my gigs this year? Any big names in the progressive scene touring over here? Thanks.

I'm a fan of Snarky. They're actually playing at the end of July at Dun Laoghaire Harbour in Dublin for the Beatyard festival so I might go to that.

Good gig tonight, a bit too clean and professional for me personally, good energy, placed was packed all standing at least a couple of thousand, suffered like all fusion bands live with setting up the next solo. Good night out.
