Stained glass on Part C = DARK
Face wearing shades in Part B that someone thought was Jon Lord = PATERNOSTER
No one can see the Donovan?
....
We've come to a standstill, so Mastermen may now enter the game.
Oh Most Glorious, You are called to Judgement.
Okay I try some others
Black and white structure = Forever Amber The Love cycle
Legs = Plastic Cloud s/t
Opera glasses = Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera
Awlroight!
Good one on Plastic Cloud - that's not easy.
And the Donovan is of course HMS the little rainbow and clouds bit
Part A background is a Kinks lp.
Part B backgound is - once again - Dark.
Part C background is ..... cummon, most of the lp cover is on there!
Okay Part C Background:
The Dream - Get Dreamy
That was really funny ....
Now let's keep this going: Fingers held up = The Gods - To Samuel a Son
Face behind star/flower (or whatever) = Group 1850 Agemo's trip to Mother Earth
Not sure if it was mentioned yellow cat is Procul Harum Home too
The yellow lion on "Home" wot says, "Grrr...Where is he?"?
No.
Okay, I'm giving one obvious one away that no one identified - Jade Warrior.
No it isn't.
Its not even prog.
Pop UK 70s. Exceptionally well-known band.
I think you already mentioned it to be from The Kinks.
Hmm.. as there aren't to many colourfull Kinks covers, I would guess it has to be Face to Face
And I' pretty sure that there is no Jade Warrior, but maybe I'm blind.
Jade Warrior is the hand on green background in "A" collage.
"Face To Face" - another mystery undone!
Clue for "C" , the Rememberance Day-poppy sort of thingy -black cross on red poppy background:
UK folk, folkrock band 70s. Lp had a long title.
Are you sure about Jade Warrior? That hand is not on any of my LP's (and I ve got them all). Alternative cover artwork?
Have to corect The Kinks one is "Percy" by the way
You know, you are correct on both counts - much to this Prog Masterman's chagrin.
Both "Face to Face" & "Percy" used those pastels, but indeed its "Percy".
I THOUGHT it was from Jade Warrior " Last Autumn's Dream", but looking now at my cover it isnt.
Damned if I recall where I got that section from - its been some two years since I made these three collages up.
Okay, two more from "A" that were not identified are : Uriah Heep and ....err....Randy Holden.
I'm pretty sure...Yep.....ughhhhhh
And they are quiet tricky, your collages.
I totally suck at guessing the photographic bits, bandphotos always look the same to me and I can't remember anything of them.
Uhriah Heep that's the yellow smoke one (should have got that one). Cover shows a tank I think, to lazy to look up.
Randy Holden, is that the guy from Blue Cheer? Don't know any of his solos.
There is a TIR NA NOG there.
TUDOR LODGE.
